The smoke signals

Levi saw the Titan for the very first time. It ran after him and his friend Jeremy. Levi reloaded the pistol and put in a green smoke flare. with the hand that was holding the pistol he raised it up to the sky and put his other hand to his ear. Then he fired it. every time they would see any smoke signals they would copy firing it. So it would make a line of the smoke flares colour. Other soldiers shot up a green flare as well. Levi put the pistol away and rode on his horse.

They must have rode for an hour at least. When they saw an abnormal Titan. The abnormal Titan could run up to 60 km. The Titan chased after Levi and Jeremy. It ran fast but not as fast as the horse. Jeremy shot up a black smoke flare. The black smoke flare would bring an abnormal Titan. an abnormal normal Titan was a rare Titan. but it was deadly. then this abnormal Titan began to speed up. I tried to catch Jeremy, but still the horse was too fast. The abnormal Titan began to slow down and turned away.

when it was dusk out the formation began to slow down to a halt. The soldiers began to take a rest and read just their gear. it would be a week until the Scout regiment returned back to the walls. The Scout regiment did not go far but they were able to see the outside world for its true self. as the Scout regiment was returning back to the walls something was in the distance. A large Titan. The Titan was almost as big as the walls. The large Titan was different from the other Titans because it had muscles on him. Levi shot up a black smoke flare.

the signal reached the centre formation where the leaders would be. All the soldiers in the Scout regiment could see it. the large Titan spotted them, done with a flashlight it was gone. the large Titan did not come back. Levi didn't look in front of him but then he saw a Titan. Levi and Jeremy turn the horses away from the Titan and Levi shot up a green smoke flare. but the Titan grabbed the soldier and ate him. Levi looked in horror of what he just witnessed, he just saw his fellow comrade get eaten by a beast. He could still remember when he was learning about being a Scout regiment Soldier that the Titans did not eat people for food but they did it for the satisfaction of killing. the soldier was gone in a few seconds. The soldier's horse rode off into the distance never to be seen again. Levi thought himself why just why did these Titans kill.
