Glimmer X Bow •.•

Glimmer POV

As I'm walking outside of Brightmoon to The Whispering Woods I hear leaves crinkle near me. I turn to the direction and ready up my magic.

"Who's there?" I get no response. I walked to the noise and look around. My best friend Bow walked out of some bushes and waved at me.

"Hey Glimmer!"

I screamed as he walked out.

"AHHHhh- Oh, h-hey Bow!" I wave awkwardly. 

"Sorry, anything new?" Bow asks as he puts his bow on his back.

"Nope, just checking around, you know, protecting Brightmoon." I started to ramble, looking down. My mom, Queen Angella, sadly sacrificed herself for everyone, so I had to take on the new role as queen. I was happy to rule Brightmoon, and happy my mom sacrificed herself for the sake of the universe, but without her remarks on how dangerous our missions are, when I get beat up by horde prime bots, it feels empty in this castle. I haven't noticed I'd gone quiet, until bow walked up to me.

"Glimmer, let's go back to the castle, okay?" I nod and walk with him. He always knew how to talk to me, it makes me fall for him more. Every time he asks me if I'm okay, or tells me I did a good job on something, my heart flutters and skips beats. I only wish he knew how I felt about him, but that's to embarrassing to say myself. As we made it to the castle, I start to point out some animals that were flying or running around. Bow smiles and keeps going with me, pointing out animals too. We had stopped at the garden house in which Shadow weaver kept care of her flowers, which were also magical, and Bow picked a flower from the bushes near the entrance of the garden house. He held the flower out, smiling gently.

"Is this for me?" I ask, blushing, but generally confused.

"Yes, take it." Bow kinda demanded, but I can't blame him, I do question a lot. As I take the flower, I could smell the sweet fragrant of the flower, even though it was fairly far from my nose. As I brought it closer, looking at it, I start to smile. Before I knew it, Bow stole it back.

"Hey! I was looking at it!" I argue, but again, he surprises me. He lifted his hand up and put the flower on my ear, poking out of the hair. He pulls away, satisfied with his work. I look over at the flower and smile.

"Why'd you do that? I could've done that myself." I giggle a bit, flattered by his gesture. He pulls me into a hug, a very tight hug in fact. I wrap my arms around him as well.

"Okay, now a hug, what's going on?" I asked confused again. He pulls away and looks into my eyes, a very serious look.

"Glimmer, I like you, and I have for a while. I brought you out here to tell you that, and because Adora forced me to take you here instead of what I thought of, I mean it wasn't that bad of an idea-" Before he can say anything else I gently kiss his cheek. He goes silent, blushing more than me.

"I like you too, Bow." My smile grows bigger as I hug him again. As he holds me, I lift up my head.

"Are we going to tell the others? Are we dating now? I'm still confused, I've never dated anyone before." I ramble out all of these questions, but he responses in a laugh. He holds my hands and looks at my eyes again.

"Yes, we are dating. If you want to tell the others you can." Bow said tenderly. I nod and put my head on his chest.

"I love you Bow." I say gently

"I love you too Glimmer."
