Seungkwan-Have you heard rumor about this library?

I glared at Seungkwan beside me

Sehun-What?
Seungkwan-This library is haunted

He whispered a little bit. I shook my head and continued arranging the books on the shelf

Seungkwan-They said there is one book in this library that is unfinished
Sehun-Unfinished means?

I asked, getting interested

Seungkwan-The book has no ending. So the characters inside the book will come out to find someone who can finish up the book for them

I cluck my tongue. He was dumb

Sehun-I'm done. Do your job quickly
Seungkwan-You still don't believe me? Ya!

I grabbed the basket and moved to the counter. I stretched my neck. Being a librarian was a tough job. Seungkwan walked to me at the counter

Seungkwan-Do you want me to stay with you until you close the library?
Sehun-No, thanks. I'm so done with people saying I am a gay
Seungkwan-Are you not?
Sehun-Do you have a death wish?

Seungkwan grinned

Seungkwan-Then I will be leaving
Sehun-Just go
Seungkwan-Be careful. You may not be alone

Sehun tossed my pen at him

Sehun-Stupid

I shook my head. The clock ticked and it finally time to close the library. I did the usual routine before leaving. I sweep the floor, switched off all the electrical devices and make sure no books were left scattered

Sehun-Everything seems good

Thud!

I heard something fell behind me. I turned around and saw a novel on the floor. I crouched down and picked it up. It was a heavy book, how could it easily fall from the shelf?

I flipped through the pages. Goosebumps raised on my skin when I found the the pages were only until 225th page. The rest was empty

"The book has no ending. So the characters inside the book will come out to find someone who can finish up the book for them"

Seungkwan's words haunted me. Ah shit, i shouldn't have listen to him. I quickly put the novel back at its place

"Help me"

My feet froze. Cold sweats dripped from my forehead

"Help me"

A voice said again. Was I being delusional? Or did it really come from inside the book?

Sehun-Wh.. What happen?

I felt like my body was being sucked into the novel. I screamed but my voice couldn't be heard

Sehun-Ugh

I groaned as I feel slight pain on my nape. My eyelids fluttered open and I got up. I shook my head left and right vigorously, trying to get rid of the dizziness

Sehun-Where am I?

I questioned. I found myself not inside the library anymore. This place was strange, I could not recognise anything here

I saw spinning wheel, gayageum, and many more antique stuff that I could not name. It felt like travelling back in time

I picked myself up and dusted at my shirt
