10. The First Meet

Rishab,Veer, Parth, Amar, Siddharth or Sid, Anurag and Komolika were on the same group of friends. All of them were doing MBA .

Parth and Amar were a year senior to them, but all of them hung out together. The odd one out in their group was only Komolika but since she was known Anurag's girlfriend, all of them tolerated her. But the truth is they were bed-mates. So by being Anurag's girlfriend didn't stop her from flirting with the others though.

Parth, Amar, Sid were the next of kin in their families so naturally they would obtain their father's business but still they wanted to work hard so that they could prove themselves.

Rishab doesn't have a business family background nor do he have a normal family. He only had his mother who worked so hard so that he could have a bright future. From childhood he saw the struggles of his mother so he worked his ass off to obtain a scholarship in B- school. He had saved enough money by doing various odd jobs and provided a decent house for his mother but he had to stay in the campus due to his hectic schedule. Though he is studying he is working as an intern in a company which no one knows except his best friend Veer. Also he absolutely hated two-timing people.

Veer and Rishab were inseperable since high school and it was during that time when Veer came to know about Rishab's financial condition and his past. He offered to help but being the self sufficient man that he is, Rishab denied. Moreover Rishab asked him not to disclose it to anyone.And Veer kept his best friend's secret. Veer and Rishab's friendship was envied upon by the whole college, mostly because both came from different backgrounds. Veer's family was filthy rich. But both Rishab and Veer stuck through high school and has been each other's constaant support ever since. Rishab had a plan for his future and was slowly putting it inot action and only Veer was aware of it. Veer did not want to join his family business rather he wanted to help his friend in building up his business.

Sid, Rishab and Veer were the deadly trio. They were the best of friends but since Veer knows Rishab from high school so they are a little closer.

Coming to Anurag and Komolika they wanted to study in a foreign B-school so their parents sent them together.

Except Anurag and Komolika, everyone was brought up in London. Parth, Amar, Sid doesn't live in the campus as their home is near. Veer too had his home nearby but he lived in the campus with Rishab. Komolika and Anurag too lived in campus.

Morning

The group were hanging out in their usual spot. Parth and Amar were discussing about their new project. Rishab, Veer and Sid were talking about their courses when Anurag came towards them along with Komolika clinging to his side.

"Lo aa gaye baby aur babu" Veer mumbled which earned him a smack on his head from Amar.

"Good morning guys" Anurag said taking a seat near them.

"Good morning boys" Komolika said kissing each of their cheeks but Rishab backed out the last second saying " Umm, tumhara lipstick chalajayega". Others were rubbing their cheeks to remove her mark.

"Thank you Rishu baby, ek tum hi ho jo mera itna care karte ho" komolika said sweetly touching up her makeup while Rishab grimaced hearing her.

"Rishu baby" mocked Veer but he shut up seeing Rishab's glare.

"Guys, toh kya plan hai?" asked Anurag

" kaisa plan? " Parth inquired.

"Arre freshers are coming today. Hot hot ladkiya aayi hongi" said Anurag

" Aur hot boys" komolika added

Every one rolled their eyes except Anurag thinking about Komolika and her obsession with hot guys.

Prerna entered the college along with her best friend Sana. Both were very excited as it was their first day of college. They greeted everyone on the way when they saw the group and were going towards them.

Anurag saw two girls entering and whistled. "look guys, freshers"

Every one turned to look towards Prerna and Sana who were walking towards them. Rishab was staring at Prerna when he saw a guy dashed with her. She tumbled backwards and was able to fall but the guy caught her by her waist. Seeing it Rishab grew uncomfortable. Prerna mumbled a thanks to the guy and came towards them.

"Hello everyone " Prerna said and looked towards Parth and Sid with a twinkle in her eyes.

"I am Prerna" she said extending her hand towards Parth but Komolika slapped away her hand.

Rishab was enthralled by the sweet voice but he frowned hearing Komolika saying " how dare you? These are my boys and you are a fresher so be in your limit"

Prerna looked at Komolika and raised her eyebrows at her as if to ask Really. The boys were looking at her with amusement while Anurag was giving her lustful looks.

"Listen you...'' Komolika started but Prerna bade bye and went to their classes.

"She is something" Rishab mumbled smiling to himself but stopped when he saw Veer giving him teasing looks.

Parth, Amar and Sid stood with an adoring look in their face seeing which Veer's eyes went wide. He nudged Rishab and whispered "Rishi, act fast. Dekh competition bohut tough hai"

"What??" Rishab asked

"Arre wo dekh, kaise Amar, Sid aur Parth bhi usse dekh rahe hai.Aisa lag raha hai unko pehla pehla pyar hogaya" Veer said the last part in a singsong voice

Rishab looked towards the trio and seeing their expression he realised that Veer was telling the truth. But he remembered something and said to Veer "Parth ki toh girlfriend hai"

Veer shrugged and said "Pata nahi wohi jaane, ussne toh kabhi kaha nahi"

PRESENT:

Veer and Sana burst out laughing after Veer recalled their first meet. He nudged Sana and whispered "But babe, tumne toh mujhe bhao hi nahi diya tha"

Hearing their laughter Rishab also had a smile on his face but it soon turned into a frown. Seeing his expressions Veer realized what he was thinking.

Sana then looked towards Rishab and asked "Toh iss liye tumne usse baad mein itna kuch sunaya kyunki tumhe laga wo teeno Prerna ko pyaar karte hai?"

Veer piped in and said " Arre uss incident ki wajah se nahi.....aaoo betho tumhe batata hun"

Rishab face started getting paler and his frown deepened as Veer started narrating the past.
