Charlie and I sit together at the table after eating breakfast. I had made french toast when he told me he knew how to speak french. He was french-Canadian which made sense.

"Okay, how do you say how's the weather?" I ask, leaning my head on my hand. He smiles at me before speaking. "Quel temps fait-il?" He says fluently. Hearing him speak in french was too much for me too handle. He was hot and spoke differently languages. I didn't think I could stick around him for much longer or I would be having to hide a relationship from my brother.

"Vous avez très bien préparé le petit déjeuner. Merci." He speaks smoothly. I zone out slightly while listening to him, wishing he would repeat the sentence again. He notices and chuckles softly. "I said the breakfast was very well made. Thank you." He explains. Oh he thought I just didn't know what he said. I feel a bit relieved he didn't notice I was drooling over him.

"Would you like to go out for a coffee?" I ask him. Owen had gone out with Jeremy for the day as they had to get fitted for a few outfits. Charlie looks at me before nodding. "I'd like that." He smiles at me. "Great, it's a date. I mean not a date unless you don't- Never mind." I stutter and immediately face palm. He chuckles softly and stands up. "It can be a date." I look up at him. He winks at me before walking to get dressed. My eyes widen a little when he turns around. He just winked at me. I stand up and quickly go to get ready. I change into a nicer outfit than PJs and put on light makeup. We meet each other beside the door. He put on a white t-shirt with a nice flannel on top of it with blue jeans. His cologne smelt really nice. We walk together. He knew where a few local coffee shops were. He and I wanted to go to a small, family owned with to support small businesses. That was probably my favorite thing to do. It helped broaden the horizon of amazing hole in the wall places. (Make sure you guys support local, small, black-owned businesses in your town or nearby! Covid has really put a hurting on people!) The coffee shop was extremely cute. There were lights hanging from the ceiling with chairs and a couch in the corner of the room. There were a few tables that people with computers or food could sit at. Charlie and I both walk up to order our coffees. He pays for mine even when I insisted for him not to.

"I'll pay you back." I tell him. He looks at me and shakes his head. "I won't let you." He says before grinning at me. "Thank you.." I smile at him. Our names are called and we walk to grab our drinks. We decide to sit secluded in the corner on the couch. It was quiet over there and we could talk.

"Now, we clearly can't tell Owen this is a 'date'." I say to Charlie, mainly joking with him and mainly not. "Guess it's our little secret, huh?" He challenges and looks at me. I had never hidden anything from Owen. He knew me too well to know when I was lying or keeping something from him. The way Charlie said it though. Sounded kind of fun and thrilling. I didn't do much fun and thrilling things beside getting on a plane and coming all the way to LA.

"Our little secret.." I say and hold out my pinky for him. He lifts his and wraps it around mine, leaning forward to kiss my knuckles softly. "Kiss mine." He says and holds his hand out for me. I smile and kiss his knuckles softly. "There. Now we both have good luck." He smiles at me. I smile at him and take a sip of my coffee. We spent a while at this small coffee shop. He told me his experience from leaving his family to take on multiple projects and I told him about how I was really big into going to a dance school over here.

"I know you can do it. You just have to believe in yourself the most. You're the only person who can push yourself to do it." Charlie says. He always sounds so wise. He could be goofy and funny, but he also had a very serious side of him. Especially when he was talking about something he was very passionate about. "You should come to the set tomorrow. We need someones help on showing us a certain dance." He tells me. I nod and listen to him explain it. I suddenly got an idea. I throw away my coffee cup and grab his hand, pulling him up with me.

"Trust me?" I ask and he nods quickly. I smile and lead him out of the coffee shop. We walk down the side walk and he looks around to get his surroundings. "Where are we?" He looks up at the building.

"When Owen got this big role, my mom brought me out here to make sure he was settling alright. This is a school of dance." I say looking at the building. He looks at me like I'm crazy. "You understand the building is closed? They don't open on Saturdays." He says and I scoff before taking his hand again. I lead him through an alleyway. "What.." Charlie watches me confused. I notice a door propped open. It was so the janitor could get to the trashcan and not lock himself out. I knew that because I've snuck in here quite a few times when I made a few bad influence friends out here. I pull him inside.

"We're going to-" I turn around and cover his mouth. He stares at me wide eyed and I can't help but laugh a little at him. "Not if you're quiet.." I say quietly. He nods and I slowly take my hand away.
