Its that time of the year again. Of course
I am among the few residents the prince had found and brought to dirtmouth who are cristmas shopping.

The bugs of dirtmouth had some odd traditions like putting holly on the lampposts. But who am I to complain. Colored candles line the paths in jolly patterns.

Moss wrapped around some things and line the houses. A moss wrieth had even been hung on the bench that rarely gets used anymore.

Today elder bug stood near said bench like usual. The only thing different ia that he has moss wrapped around hia horms and a pale flower in his claw.

"Hi elderbug!" He gives a tired, sad yet jolly smile. "Hello (Y/N)." I frown "is something wrong elderbug?" He shakes his head. "Just waiting for a friend to return from the well"

His gaze shifts to the well. Poor guy still worries about everyone who goes down there. "I see, I hope they come see you soon. I got stuff to do."

Elderbug waves goodbye and continues waiting for his friend. I walk into a shop getting food for a old tradition my family always had, a feast!

Of course it wont be as big as when they were around but still can continue a small tradition with friends!

I had made some friends when I had moved into dirtmouth. There was obviously pure as he found me and brought me here. Elderbug because he is such a cool dude.

This fluffy moth named mahina, and your nailmaster peers oro, mato, and sheo. And you couldnt forget tiso in that list.

Actually this year he was hosting the get together in the house he has claimed. I hurry back home putting the food away where ever it needs to go before writting a list of names down.

Gift shopping. Now I already knew sheo would love more art supplies maybe give him some extra for things he hasnt tried yet.

Mato will get a training dummy as he doesnt have any. It also be useful for hia current goal to truely master sly's teachings.

Oro. . . he needs company but he wouldnt accept a pet. Maybe a plant? Ya a plant would work.

Pure would be happy with pretty much anything so I'll get thwn a pet because they've been eyeing that run down pet store. A mosscreep would fit them perfectly!

Elderbug isn't coming to the meet up. And I dont know mahina well enough to give her anything she'd truely enjoy.

So all that's left is tiso. What would work for him? He doesnt really care much for items, unless its his shield. No charms he doesnt care for those either. Hmm why does he got to be picky with gifts. . . I'll just think about it while walking through town.

Ok I got my list for what to get who. And so the game of avoiding each other and jumping out of bodies when we do begins.

The entire shoping trip was everyone thats going to the get together running around avoiding each other. And when ever you make eye contact we turn the other way IMIDIANTLY. It didnt help that there was only around 5 shops at the current moment.

The times we run into each other we pretty much mentally die before running away. In other words it was one of those cartoon chase scenes.

Eventually I get all the gifts to give, except for the pet I plan to give pure. Quickly making my way home. I go in wrap the gifts. Now to get pure's gift and figure out how I'm going to get tiso's armor how to make it not obvious.

I walk over to the well past the tiny guy that never shuts up. He was currently blabbing to bretta about something called precepts? Either way I've listen to it, majority of it is rubbish.
