Chapter 4

Your pov

A wide smile bursts onto my lips as I find the room. "Three hours and I found the room!" Looking up trying to spot the ledge covered in moss.

Letting out a sigh. I begin to jump from ledge to edge. Pausing to catch my breath I hear a platform creek behind me.

Turning around to see a gruzz. "Note to self ignore the sounds of the platforms." A few more ledges and I jump onto the ledge covered in moss.

Wearing a smile I skipped along the path. The grass crunching under my feet. "Now. Sheo is around here maybe I'll visit the hunter as well."

Walking into the next room. "On second thought I probably shouldnt visit the hunter." Continuing my treck to sheo my steps slowing to a caution.

The sound of a branch breaking fills the room jumping back nothing comes up from the floor. Looking around confused I spot the fool eater that I thought I triggered.

Running over drawing my nail. "who ever is in there dont struggle! And stay still." Working quickly I slit at the flytrap type plant's side until my nail gets through completely.

Once my nail reached inside. I turn it and begin to push down. Not to long later the fool's eater was dead orange goop leaking out of it as it falls open.

Inside was tiso who was most unconscious because of the gasses the plant produces to kill it's prey. "Huh guess you didn't know where to eather."

Chuckling to myself I reach over a toss him on my back. "Guess I'm taking you with me." After a few more rooms, fool eaters, and vagabonds. We make it to the torture zone of vines that will pierce through your shell.

Putting tiso down against the wall I looked up at the passage for my eye to hiden. "WHO BLOCKED IT???? IT TOOK YEARS FOR ME TO CARVE THAT OUT"

Tiso stirred frowning a bit, catching your attention. "Oh look at that. Your awake. Don't try to move the gasses from the fool eater will kill you or you'll fall deadly sick" I sigh as he doesn't respond.

I sit down beside him. "Before you realize you can still talk. We are in green path near Sheo. I dragged you with me this far because the fool eater catching you."

His gaze was slightly clouded as his mouth opens a bit to speak. "And what about it?" I shook my head sighing. "Fool eaters catch bigs inside their mouth and lets out a toxic glass poisoning the bug caught. if the bug escapes the poison spreads through them eventually killing them."

"And before you think that walking off after getting a cure. That thought is wrong. The cure takes time and clouds your choices. Requiring someone to be with you."

He seem to think for a second. "How do you know so much bout this?" I blush slightly at the reasoning. Should I lie? Shaking my head to myself. No I shouldn't, that happened years ago anyways.

"Well. . . when I first came to greenpath two years ago. I got caught in one. I was lucky sheo was near by." I let out a chuckle to myself.

"Anyways we need to continue or the poison will kill you." I stand up and begin to place him on my back. He shuffled a bit probably not wanting my help. "What ever you do dont move. I cant fly with you on my back"

I hear a faint scoff probably at the fact I wanted to fly through here. If he sees what I have to go through he probably won't be scoffing. With the vines that can easily peirce us through and the durandas.

Going for a running start I run over the first duranda in the small gap leaping towards the wall. My feet hook onto it. Glancing back to make sure I didn't drop tiso. Looking up at the ledge. "Hey tiso you good enough for me to let go of you with out falling?" Hearing another scoff I let go feeling him fall slightly and begin to climb up.
