Laurent's POV

Music to my ears.

I instinctively gasped and smiled at the same time. I couldn't believe Edamame was doing this.

"Yay! Edamura, Im so gla-"

And then suddenly the lights went out.

Makoto's POV

"GAH!"

God! Why so suddenly? The freaking lights! Are they trying to make me have a heart attack or something!?

....

And then I heard it. Footsteps.

"Laurent what's this noise."

"I-its not me.."

What the hell. Me and Laurent were the only people at the freaking hotel room. And the footsteps were not outside. They were too close.

I started trembling. I heard Laurent's voice.

Laurent's POV

"Crap! Where's my phone, I need the freaking flashlight! Edamura are you ok?"

I gained wimpers in response. He clearly wasn't.

I tried to reach his shoulder and i placed my hand on it.

"Heey its ok, the lights will come back on, you'll see"

The footsteps stopped.

Makoto's POV

*Sniff*

I started sobbing. The lights went back on.
Laurent had placed his hand on my shoulder and looked around, confused.

"W-w-what was t-that.???"

"That noice, I have no idea. Are you ok? You sound kind of frightened."

"I... *sob* .... Im tired.."

Hmm. Im embarrasing myself again. Not surprising.

"Well there is a spare bedroom over there, so you can sleep here if you want."

"O-ok..."

I walked into the bedroom, still sobbing.

"Are you sure you want to sleep alone?"

And then a thunderstorm started. Like the lights and all wasn't enough.

BAM.
The lightning struck.

I tried to hold back my fear and replied to Laurent.

"Uh, yes I'm fine, thanks btw"

"Its ok, If you need anything I'll be in the bedroom on the left."

"A-alright.."

Laurent smiled at me while closing the door.

3:00 a.m.

I hadn't slept a bit. The lightning noises were interrupting my sleep and scaring me at the same time.  I didn't want to disturb Laurent, so I just stayed in bed, wimpering.

Laurent's POV

I couldn't sleep due to the goddamn thunderstorm so i just stayed there, looking at the ceiling, with a blank expression. Tge, I heard a noise. It was... crying? Whimpering? Something like that. Then I started thinking of Edamame. For god's shake, am I in my right mind? I shouldn't have left him alone with that crappy storm going on. I better check what he's doing...

I got up and walked towards the small bedroom. I opened the door very quietly. I whispered.

"Edamame..?"

Nothing. Just sobbing and crying.

I walked toward him and that just made him cry more.

"Laurent I-I-I-Im s-s-sorry I w-woke you up *sob*"

"Its ok, I wasn't sleeping either. Now why didn't you come and tell me you were scared?"

"I didn't want to disturb you... I really didn't-"

He was cut off by a loud sound, just like a gun being fired. (Srry guys Author-chan does not do english lmao)

Makoto's POV

I immediately got up and started shivering and trembling. Laurent looked at me with concern, he looked almost worried. But I was too frightened to pay attention to this at that moment.

"You don't seem to be very well with the storm and you need sleep, do you want to come sleep in my bed?"

It took me a while to answer because I could not believe he was actually saying this.

"Y-yeah o-ok"

. . .

As soon as I got there I immediately jumped into the bed  and covered myself with the blankets completely. I noticed the storm was not that loud in that room. And it was warmer... but i was still trembling.

Then Laurent rested his hand on my head and started talking to me.

"Hey, there, look, its ok to be scared, please don't be embarassed and tell me next time ok?"

I nodded.
It was different when I was with him. His presence was relaxing me and the storm wasn't that scary...

I watched him looking at me and as I was gazing into his eyes I drifted off to sleep...

Laurent's POV

I smiled as I watched his eyes close. He was too cute for me to resist so I just kept looking at him with a smile on my face and then I started patting his head. I wish he'd be my boyfriend one day...

I fell asleep too as I was looking at his beautiful face...
