Errrr... hello! I was on a family vacation so I could write that much. Sorry :/. I should've at least put an announcement before I left. I wrote this much... so please enjoy this short chapter!

Kirito POV

So... now I need to fight Eugeo? Eugeo was one of my greatest partners. He was like Asuna; a great companion, always smiling, smart and easy to have a telepathic conversation, though Asuna was more familiar for me. She is my girlfriend. The one I truely love. When I looked back at him, he looked as if he saw a ghost. Pale, as if he had been brought back to life after a thousand years of being dead. I tried to comfort him, but my legs betrayed me. They wouldn't move. I tried to speak. My mouth had betrayed me too. I urgently looked back at Asuna, to only see her staring at me back. "What are you going to do?" She mouthed to me.

"I don't know." I replied, also mouthing out the words. She face-palmed herself, and mouthed back to me.

"I'll try talking with him." I nodded furiously, hoping he would respond to her. She softly tapped him on the back, and he turned around to see her.

Asuna POV

"Hey Eugeo... are you scared of versing Kirito?'

"Y-Yes. I feel like my soul is going to float to the upper realms right now."

"You do know he isn't going to fight at full strength you know?"

"B-But he has to defeat me t-to go to the Norlangarth Sword Mastery Academy..."

"He may need to, but he's only going if you're there with him."

"W-What about you?"

"Oh ho... don't try to underestimate me Eugeo, a lot of males have done that, and it hasn't ended pretty." I'm pretty sure the last male that tried to 'care' for me got destroyed by Kirito... I mean quite literally.

"O-Ok. So... Kirito is strong right?"

Flashbacks from what Silica had said flashed into my head. "This one guy saved me from monsters when Pina died. He was strong. He had... black clothes and was really strong." The image of Kirito with black clothes flickered onto my eyes, reflecting the colour of his clothes right now. The worn-out black coloured shirt, and in a flash, a vision of him flickered in my eyes. An image of him duel-wielding popped up. "Kirito... is strong." Maybe stronger than the gods that exist here in this world.

"Then how am I supposed to win him? I barely know how to wield a sword, much less swing it."

"You have potential Eugeo. You just haven't found out what makes you stronger. For instance, mine is the the urge to protect Kirito no matter what. Continue fighting, and maybe then you'll figure out what makes you stronger. After all I fought for almost 2 years on one goal that wasn't Kirito... So stand up and give Kirito your best!" I winked at Kirito, making him acknowledge that I succeeded. He punched the air, and grinned at me. He gave me a peace sign, and I smiled back at him, happy that he's happy. He dashed to me, his invisible tail wagging in pure joy.

"Thank you Asuna. I will continue to find what makes me stronger. And maybe then, I'll be able to help you and Kirito." Eugeo commented. As soon as Eugeo pondered off to wonder what will make him stronger, Kirito appeared as soon as Eugeo left, and pounced onto me.

"Asuna! You did it! Thank you!" And apparently he had been listening because he suddenly brought up from Eugeo and my conversation, "Don't worry Asuna. You're the one that gives me hope and strength. Don't let others annoy you, just remember I love you and you only."

A/n uhhh. Sorry. I should've done an announcement. Well next chapter? Tournament fights. Quite short chapter I didn't have that much time, so I could only write this much, but I figured that I'll publish this as a chapter and have the fights as another chapter. I'm on holidays, so I may be able to write more :D (I do have tutoring tho...) anyway... thank you for reading!
