My hearing became more clear as I listened to what they were discussing and they all thought I should stay.
I glanced eagerly at the outdoors of the balcony...The temptation to leave was so tempting but I had to stay to see what they would say.
Footsteps pounded up the stairs and a wave of pain washed over my brain, red taking over the sides of my vision.
I fell onto the bed my face hiding when one of them opened the door walking in. I smelled the mattress cathing a scent of Mitch's hoodie and the red in my vision grew closer to the middle.
I started breathing quickly as Mitch walked closer making me grab fistfuls of the bblanket, my claws ripping them open from how tight I was holding them.
"Preston?" Mitch questioned.
"The guys said you are still welcome here even if you are hostile." Mitch piped and I could tell he was smiling.
"M-Mitch...I-I can't s-s-s-stay.." I breathed out my tail slowly reaching out towards his stomach ready to pierce through his skin when I shoved my tail back and held it in my right hand with a fistful of blankets.
"Why not? They said you could.....P-Preston? Hey are you ok?" Mitch inquired kneeling down beside me.
I lifted my head up looking away from Mitch but a wave of blood thirst washed over my mind again, my claws itching to stab through something.
So I faceplated back into the mattress mumbling in the mattress trying to calm down like I did last time but it wasn't working...I don't think I would last...
"M-M-Mitch...*shiver gasp* I need you to lock every opening to the house...I can't come...can't come....in.." I hissed the last part trying to get up.
Mitch bolted up and shuffled backwards away from me, I sniffed the mattress again smelling something that was surrounding Mitch...Fear...
"P-P-Preston why?" Mitch whimpered looking at me.
"JUST DO IT!!" I screeched as Mitch bolted out the door and I heard the clicks of locks sounding around the house.
I sighed in relief when I heard the last click but screeched when the red completely covered my eyesight. Tears flowed down my cheeks as I panicked.
My inner demon kicking in I felt my tail become more straight and less friendly looking, my horns jutted upwards pointy.
I stalked around no longer in control of my body. I hissed as I lunged at the door ripping my hand through the wooden door clawing at whatever was my reach and my eye caught the window.
I walked towards it, my feet picking up the pace as I sprinted towards the balcony jumping off of it, spreading my wings at the last second and flew around the house while mobs gathered around
the house, preparing for a fight. I flew above the house in a circle noticing a skeleton glaring at me with disgust making eye contact with me.
"DO NOT GIVE ME THOSE GLARES!!!!" I hissed at them
I looked deeper into the skeletons eyes and saw this cave inside where his pupil was supposed to be. I peeked in, walking a bit further until I saw a golden thread that looked like a pole.
Rising from the celing, to the floor. My body took control of itself as I dashed towards the thread and touched it my hand with a black aura around it.
I sprinted out and watched from my own view, back in control of half my body again as I watched the skeletons bones grow dark and turn into ash crumpling into the ground.
