-ROSIE-"So uhm, do you mind letting me go now?" I cheekily teased Bella while I busily prepare our lunch. She was still clinging on to me, back hugging me while giggling.
"Nope!" Bella stuck her tongue out, squeezing my waist tighter. "Seems like you don't want me anyway."
"Ha! Are you a mind reader now?" I faked gasp, turning around with two bowls on my hand.
"Go, sit now. Let's eat lunch."
"Oh, you cook?" Bella smiled, sitting down and anticipating what food I've made.
"I do."
"Here... since it's raining." I placed a small bowl of chicken porridge in front of her, awaiting for her priceless reaction that didn't fail me.
"You remember..." Bella whispered, eyes lightening up while looking at me in awe, like a cat looking at the Christmas tree for the very first time.
"I did. You're it for me now, Bella." I smiled knowingly, handing her a spoon.
"Hmm? What's that supposed to mean?" She innocently asked, blowing on the hot porridge before eating it.
"You're a messy eater, do you know that?" I walked beside her, combing her hair with my fingers and holding her hair for her so she can eat easily.
"Thank you." Bella mumbled, making me just stop and stare at her.
This view is really nice, I hope to see this everyday.
"Does it taste good?"
"Good? It taste great! I love it, thank you." She enthusiastically yelled, digging into the porridge some more.
"But what does 'it' mean?" She paused to look at me, making me sigh and sit beside her.
"It, is... well it's hard to explain." I chew on my bottom lip, shyly looking at my hand that's been holding her hair instead of meeting her eyes.
"Hmm..." Bella shrugged her shoulders, digging back to her food.
I thought she would already let the topic slide, but I was wrong when I heard her say the words, "It, is like everything, right? You're it for me now, means you're everything to me now, or is it not?"
My body froze when she said that. How can she casually just blurt that out so easily, when my whole being is so adamant into not acknowledging that I feel for her that way.
"I guess yeah, I don't know." I bit my lip and lied.
"Who cares though? They're just a bunch of words." Bella rolled her eyes and raised the spoonful of porridge.
"It's not good if it's cold, say ahh~" I stared at her in disbelief but she was insistent into feeding me so I eventually gave in.
"Taste great, right?" She smiled widely, making me nod my head.
Helpless.
I stared a t her helplessly and zoned out, she looks so beautiful when she's happy.
"Are you happy?" I unknowingly blurted out.
"Huh? Of course." Bella smiled sweetly.
"That's a relief, because me too."
---
"The rain looks like it's not stopping anytime soon." Bella pouted, making me chuckle.
"It's raining so hard, Bella. I don't think I can drive you back, the road is slippery." I told and she further sulked.
