CHAPTER THREE . 両面宿儺

YOU FELT YOUR lungs give out as the curse grabbed you, it's hand was large enough to grab your entire body and shake you around like a doll. Yuuji's terrified eyes met yours as you struggled to move out of it's tight hold.

"(Y/N)!" Megumi shouted, his eyes wide with fear. You hissed in pain, trying to pry out of it's hold.

Megumi quickly clapped his hands together, shouting, "Nue!" The curse, however, swung it's free arm, hitting Megumi against the wall. Blood spluttered out of his mouth as Megumi smashed against the wall with such force it caused the concrete behind it to crumble and shatter.

"M-Megumi..." You weakly said as the curse tightened it's grip, crushing your ribcage. The curse roared before throwing you against the weakened concrete of the school, shattering it completely. The air of the night hit you as blood filled your mouth. You coughed violently before the sensation of skidding the rooftop hit you like a truck. Blood splattered everywhere, you weakly pulled yourself up to see the curse running towards you. Your eyes widened before shutting them close and braced for the worst.

But nothing ever came.

You reopened your eyes to see Yuuji flying in the air. Megumi was crawling out of the building, quite beaten up himself as well. "I-Itadori! Get those two out of here and run! Leave me and (y/n) here!"

Yuuji swung out of reach of the curse, using it's large mass as leverage and running around it. "You're in big trouble yourself!" He shouted as he latched onto the curse's arm before being flung into the air. Your eyes widened, shouting his name. "I-Itadori!"

He was hit into the ground before the curse lifted him into the air once more. Megumi watched in horror, unable to move that well due to his physical condition. "Only curses can exorcise other curses! You can't beat it!"

Itadori was thrown into the air, his body helplessly moved against the wind current and the curse's limbs. "Is this the time to be saying that?!"

He leapt away from an incoming impact, jumping side to side to avoid the attacks. You tried to push yourself up with any strength you had left. Damn it, you think to yourself silently, watching as Yuuji risks his life for you and Megumi. Red met your eyes when you noticed the amount of blood dripping from your head, likely from the impact.

Your hand lifts to in front of you, the blood from the ground lifts to form a small orb before you. "B-Blood Manipulation..." You breathlessly utter out, panting heavily.

One of your eyes close, aiming your shaking hand towards Megumi who was in just as bad condition as you. "C-Crimson Storm..." the orb shot from your hand and stopped just above Megumi. It exploded, showering him in a rainfall of red.

His cuts and wounds slowly healed, patching themselves up as the red hit him. Megumi's wide eyes trailed to you, watching as you collapsed from near exhaustion.
