James was bouncing his knee nervously, not being able to control his excitement. It wasn't the good type though. He heard a girl call his name. "Mr. James Madison, right? You're next to check in. If you just go to the front desk, Mr. Jefferson should be there. Just talk to him."

Oh god... He got up from his chair and nervously looked for Thomas. He wondered what he looked like after all this time...did he ever straighten his hair? He sighed to try and breathe, going into into the hallway and seeing him. His eyes widened a little bit at how gorgeous he was.

He wanted to hide, so he did. He hid behind the wall, peeking at him a little bit. He hid again and tried to catch his breath. James please..calm down... He thought of Thomas's voice saying that to him and his face turned red. He wont hate you...

He walked up to the desk, looking at him. He wondered if he would recognize him. "U-um...r-room for one.." he stuttered, fiddling with his fingers to try and calm himself down. He was talking to him...he was actually talking to him...

Thomas was typing all the things he needed to do when people check in on his computer. "Yes sir, may I have your name please?" he said, still not looking at what seemed to sound like a man's voice.

"J-James...Madison?" James couldn't tell if he didn't recognize him or if he was being passive aggressive in some way. No, James, stop. He's a busy man, he'll probably recognize you when he sees you...but what if he yells at me..? What if he doesn't want me here..?

He stopped what he was doing hearing the name 'James Madison' and he looked over "J-James...It's you!" He said with a happy tone and a smile. He walked over and picked him up, spinning him around softly "Ohh my god Jamie, you don't understand how much I missed you!"

He smiled softly, alot of his doubts fading away from him mind, yet some still stayed. "Of course I understand, I've missed you too.." he said quietly, afraid they were making a scene. Again, he doesn't like to be stared at. Thomas, though, is an exception.

Thomas smiled at the small man in his arms and slowly put him down "How have you been? It's been so long since I last saw you!" As he talked to James, a little blush crept up on his cheeks. He was just so happy to see him but he couldn't stop thinking about the fact that James looked so cute.

"I-I know..I'm so sorry I didn't talk to you all that time, I-I was scared..!" His nervousness started to come out again and he was talking a little faster. He just didn't want Thomas to yell at him later or think that he hated him.

Thomas walked closer to him and rubbed his back like he always did "James, it's okay, I understand. I know you." he smiled. "I've been working on this project recently and well, let's just say you're gonna love it."

"W-what?" He said to him obliviously. A project..? For what? "A-alright..!" He smiled softly, not wanting to think too much into it. He knew Thomas's ideas were amazing, I mean he's rich, why wouldn't they be? He was still pretty nervous though. He wanted to be perfect for him...

Thomas took his suitcase and reached for his hand. "Ready to go look?" He asked as he looked over at his staff. "Book the top floor for Mr. Madison please and make sure the money comes out of my account." He smirked and looked back at James. "Don't worry about paying. I've got you Jamie."

"B-but...I shouldn't get special treatment..." He looked down a little bit, rubbing his arm. "Are you sure you don't want me to pay..?" His voice was gentle, soft and quiet. He has lived in a quiet house all this time so he was pretty used to being quiet. It also had something to do with his poor health. It made his voice really weak and it tended to leave a bad impression on others.

He giggled softly and rubbed his back again as he walked to the elevator with him. "I swear Jamie, it's okay. You don't need to worry about the money."

James sighed, smiling a little bit. "Alright..." he said and when they stepped into the elevator, he clung onto Thomas, trying not to be too close. He was always afraid that it would break and it would fall and he would die. He was afraid of everything, especially cars.

Thomas looked down at the small man and held him close as the elevator started moving "It's okay James, don't worry..shh shh..."

He felt a hundred times safer with him hugging him. Maybe he just liked hugs, it was nothing about Thomas. When they finally reached the top floor after what seemed like ages to James, he slowly let go of him, shaking a little bit. He always thought of the worst outcomes. Another 'perk' of being nervous all the time.

Thomas watched as the doors opened and he held James's hand. "Are you ready to see?" he said slowly walking out and to the huge double doors.

James nodded slowly, thinking about what he was going to show him. He felt his hand wrap around his and he blushed a little bit, looking down, away from him.

He smiled and the doors opened and he looked at James before he saw it. "I made this room just for you. I wasn't going to let anyone else in it but you."

The smaller looked up and saw everything, his eyes slowly widening a little bit. His expression softened when he looked up into Thomas's eyes, his gaze asking if he could go in.

Thomas nods and walked around. "Welcome James, to your room for however long you want." He said softly as he looked at him.

James didn't know what to say for the first time in years. He was...rendered speechless.
