Izuku's POV
Izuku feels a soft, cool breeze on his face. He opens his eyes slowly and takes in his surroundings. He's sitting between two trash cans in a dark alleyway.
How long did I sleep? I should get going now. Izuku slowly stands up, checking his bag and making sure there weren't any rips. The sky was dark now, twinkling stars were above. The streets were quiet and there wasn't anyone outside. It's probably late.
Izuku takes out an apple and crunches on it while he walks.
Izuku suddenly feels weird. What's this feeling I have right now? Izuku stops. He slowly turns around and sees a man silently walking behind him. Izuku turns around and bolts. Sure enough, when he turns around, the man was chasing him.
Izuku was positive it was one of the scientists in disguise. The way he carries himself carefully, steering clear of dirt patches. Tears start falling down his face as the man gets closer, and closer. No! I need to run! For the others...
Izuku nears a bend and runs straight into...
Aizawa's POV
Aizawa yawned as he patrolled the outskirts of town. Nothing much happened around here. Aizawa frowned. A pitter-patter noise was getting louder and louder. Was someone running? What is going on? There's usually nobody awake at this hour. Questions ran through Aizawa's head.
He turned a corner and a certain green haired boy ran into him. The boy from earlier! Aizawa remembered, then frowned. Tears were streaming down the boy's face, and he clung to Aizawa as if he was his lifeline. Aizawa crouched down and held the greenette.
Aizawa looked up and saw a man behind him, panting slightly. The man seemed to be chasing the boy. A wave of anger passed over the man's face when he saw Aizawa. The man kept getting closer.
"Please help me." The small greenette cried and clung tighter to Aizawa's shirt. Aizawa immediately went into overprotective mode, but a small voice warned him it might be a trap. Aizawa looked down at the boy in his arms and ignored the warning voice and stood up, facing the man.
"Excuse me," the man said, looking very annoyed. "You have my son. Please let him go."
Aizawa scowled at the man. "Why is the 'your son' running away from you and crying? You also look nothing alike. You can get jailed for attempted kidnapping."
The man looked furious which brought great satisfaction to Aizawa. The man turned away and pulled out a phone, angrily making a call with someone.
Aizawa pulled out his phone and made a call to Nezu. "Nezu, I found a child while patrolling. I'm bring him to Yuuei."
"Thank you for telling me Aizawa. What condition is the child in?" Nezu's cheerful voice answered.
"He was running from a suspicious man but no visible injuries." Aizawa quickly scanned the greenette's body.
"Alright, I'll have Recovery Girl be there with me just in case." Nezu then hung up the call.
Aizawa sighed. "Hey kid," the greenette shook and looked up at Aizawa. "I'm bringing you to Yuuei. What's your name?"
The greenette quietly mumbled something incoherent, then cleared his throat. "Izuku." He whispered quietly.
"What about your last name?" Aizawa asked in a gentle voice, hoping to calm down Izuku.
Izuku shook his head.
"What does that mean?"
"I...don't know my last name." Izuku finally said. "I...never grew up with parents."
