I met Rosemary Holmes in elementary school when we moved from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She wouldn't of been the person I would've chosen to sit next to, but Mr. Felderman sat me right next to her. I didn't talk much my first day of fourth grade. I was angry at the fact of this new sea of unfamiliar faces is what I had to deal with for a while. Until they became familiar that is.
By the time we were in senior year of high school only 3 more new kids moved to Westin. One of the new kids was Christian. He moved here in our 10th grade year, and boy was he hot. I don't use that word much anymore, it's kinda cheesy to be honest, and it makes you sound like a freshman, but at that moment he was just....hot. So following my desire to know him, Rosemary and I befriended him. We all took to one another very well.
We would sit together every day at lunch. In high school it is very important to have a set table where you sit at every day at lunch. Unless you get lost in a sea of awkward stares and you wind up sitting alone, which is even worse in my opinion.
After becoming friends Rosemary and I were inseparable, it took Christian a little bit to fully come around and blossom. Once we were all really close we were the unstoppable force. When one of us was targeted the others would resolve the issue and make sure it didn't go somewhere unwanted. Rosemary was once confronted by her ex, Skylar. He was upset and ranting about that she finally said no to having sex, finally had the self respect that she has been hoping to have for a long while. The second he got loud Christian got up and stood in the line of fire, basically blocking his view of Rosemary, and I helped her flee the scene. We all met up after school that day and joked about how "manly man" Christian was trying to be. Rosemary thought of it as I joke. I thought it was dreamy.
