Dear Younger me, I wish I can tell you life gets better but you are about to go through things, we weren't sure we will survive, so life doesn't get better, life gets okay.

You will meet some great people, try some amazing things and make memories you'll never want to forget, but you will stumble and fall many times and that's okay.

Whether big, small, or average every body type is beautiful. Your body is beautiful.

Being lighter, will not make you happier. Love you natural, hard to manager, nappy, kinky 4c hair

There is beauty in your dark complexion, your chubby cheeks and crooked smile

You are created in the image of God and you are beautiful

Stop seeking validation from other people, people are flawed and they disappoint

Learn to forgive yourself, you are not responsible for other people's shortcomings

Do not be afraid of failing, your failure will teach you more than your success

You have the rest of your life ahead of you, do not waste it on worrying about tomorrow
