I step out of the shower and dry my face off then wrap my towel around me. I stop and stare in front of the mirror and admiring my blue-green eyes, yawning I say "god, I'm so tired." I then turn and open the bathroom door to walk to my room and get dressed. I throw on a comfy pair of grey cotton shirts and a big maroon t-shirt. I finish getting ready for bed and head downstairs to say goodnight to my parents and grab some water.
When I arrive downstairs my dad and sister are talking at the table, "Hi Addie" says Miranda, my 17 year old sister.
"Hi guys, what're you guys eating?" I say.
"Blueberries, you have to try some, they're so good." My dad says, his name is Steve.
I grab a few and pop them in my mouth, "Mmm yeah they're super good!" I smile and say back to my dad.
I walk over to our refrigerator and pop some ice cubes into my water bottle and then fill it up in the sink.
"What're you doing tomorrow?" Miranda says smiling.
"I have soccer practice after school but thats all. Why?" I question back.
"After practice you want to watch a movie?" She asks.
"Yeah sure, I'm down. Alright I'm gonna head to bed guys, goodnight love you!" I say while smiling to both my dad and sister.
I turn to head upstairs, "mom must already be in bed" I think to myself. I pop my head inside my parents room before I walk upstairs and see my mom awake in bed reading her book, "Goodnight mom, love you!" I say to my mom, her name is Maria.
"Goodnight sweetheart, sleep well, I love you!" she smiles warmly to me and says back.
I turn back around shutting her door and head up for my bed.
I stop in my bathroom to brush my hair, admiring my long golden brown locks that flows around my face, still hanging a bit wet though. I have golden brown hair that falls to the lower part of my back.People always tell me I'm pretty but I definitely don't always believe it.

I then grab my lotion from the counter and start rubbing some on my arms and legs. I have a nice body, I'm pretty tall for a girl, reaching about 5'5 right now (still growing some) my legs are probably my best feature, they're long and lean from all of the sports I play. I'm pretty tall for my age but I kinda like being able to tower over people sometimes. Especially the boys, it's funny hurting their egos a bit.
I turn my lights off closing my door and crawl into my warm bed.
I snuggle into my blankets, closing my eyes drifting off asleep into the night, unaware of what's to come.

So this is the first ever chapter that I have written for a wattpad story or in story actually so if this is awful and you guys hate in let me know please so I can do better!!
The idea I'm going with is still kinda developing in my head so throw any ideas out, who knows what could happen;) Hopefully you like it though, I know this chapter is pretty short but things will start picking up here more as we go this is just a introductory since we aren't even at Hogwarts yet obviously. Feedback is very appreciated! I also have both read and watched all of the books and movies many times but I sometimes have an awful memory so if I forget important things or make mistakes please don't kill me but I'm also probably gonna rewatch again because I love watching them so NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE AT HOGWARTS!
