We paid for the Uber and hopped out of the car, linking arms as we walked to the front. A bouncer was standing next to a podium with another man. The relatively large guy looked down at me as I told him my name. He leaned over and checked the list before he gave us one quick nod and moved out of the way to let us in.

When we walked into the club, I instantly felt overwhelmed, and my ears felt fuzzy, trying to adjust to the loud music. I looked around at the crowds of people laughing, dancing, and drinking their night away. Everyone seemed to be having a blast. Bright lights were shining all over, with seating spread out around the building. It was bigger than expected, making it a little hard to figure out where we were supposed to be.

I leaned over near Sophie's ear. "Where do we go?"

"I think VIP is over there," She pointed to a woman standing next to red rope blocking a flight of stairs. "Come on."

All of a sudden, I was being pulled along over to the lady. We told her my name, and she let us through, pointing to where the Rebel's section was. I felt like my heart was about to burst through my chest.

"I don't see him anywhere, Sophie. What are we supposed to do? We can't just go over there and sit with them. It'll be so awkward," I gulped nervously.

"It will only be awkward if you keep making that weird and uncomfortable face," She laughed.

I internally groaned. "I can't help it. I'm so out of my comfort zone that I think I might die."

"Relax, you're fine. Hey, look, it's Tanner Zeller. Maybe he will remember us?" She shrugged.

"Yeah...maybe," I said hopefully.

"Come on," Sophie grabbed my hand and led us over to their section. There were way more girls than guys in the area. My eyes wandered around as I realized just how attractive each of the guys really were. Hot damn, this team was blessed.
