“Cara, hurry up! I don’t want to be late!” Cara’s brother, Cedric yelled through her bedroom door.

“Chill out, I’m almost done!” She shouted, making her ruin her mascara. “Damn it! Now I have to start all over.”

There was banging on the door, “You are not making me miss out on this party, just forget the makeup.” Cedric banged on the door a final time.

“Please, don’t tell me you’re so excited to get to a party where all the girls are gonna turn you down anyway.” Cara laughed at her comment.

“Well at least I’m not a virgin…” Cedric said through his teeth. Cara flung open the door. Her blond hair was medium length and she had only started to put her makeup on. She had a small body but was stronger than you’d think. She had a white lace shirt on with a dark blue jacket over it. Her black skirt went just below her knees.

“Easy you two!” The mediator came walking into the hall, the elder brother. Beau was always the one to break up his younger siblings, Cedric and Cara. With both their parents gone, he was the caretaker. Cara looked at Beau and automatically became calm. He had that effect on people, possibly because he was calming himself.

Beau and Cedric both had blonde hair. Beau was much taller than Cedric and he was 25. Cedric was 21 and he had an athletic body, so did Beau. Their blonde hair was proof of where they came from and of their witch origins.

“He started it!” Cara rolled her eyes.

“She’s taking too long putting on makeup that no one is gonna notice!” Cedric gestured to Cara’s face. She gave him a scowl.

“Shut up Cedric!” Beau pointed at him, then at Cara, “You. You’re already more beautiful than you need to be. You don’t need makeup on to make you even more noticeable.”

“You just don’t want any guys to notice me, Beau.”

“True.” Beau pursed his lips. Cedric laughed and Beau smacked him upside the head. “Shut up! God!” He gestured to both Cedric and Cara, “Let’s go!” Beau walked out of the house as Cedric smirked then followed along.

“Fine! I just won’t wear any makeup, ugh!” Cara wiped the makeup off as she was walking out the door.
