Kathrines POV
"Are you sure? there's never been a person that's in two houses." Dumbledore questioned the hat.
"Yes, I'm perfectly sure." The hat said.
"Teachers follow me, Kathrine go sit at ether table." Dumbledore and the rest of the professors left the great hall quickly to discuses the situation. They took the sorting hat with them.
I didn't know were to sit, I went and sat at the Hufflepuff table. I sat next to a guy with light brown hair, flawless skin and light pink cheeks. Everyone moved far away from me either than the boy, I looked down. Why did I have to get accused of killing someone now everyone is scared of me and I won't have friends, I thought to myself.
I got up and started walking, I didn't know where to go. I went outside and started to run. I could feel my hair whipping in the wind it was dark so I couldn't see a lot. The only thing I could see was a lake. There was a lot of thick fog and a sign that said Danger Snakes.
I don't care they can kill me if they want to. I thought and started walking into the fog.
"Don't go in there." I heard a voice say. I turned around and saw the boy I sat beside in the great hall.
"why not." I said putting my hands on my hips.
"Because there's snakes in there, you could get hurt." I made an ok sign with my hand and walked into the fog. There were two big snake that were 12 feet long.
"who are you?" The snake said in parseltongue, but I heard it in English.
"I'm Kathrine Strix." I said Cedric looked really scared. "Why do you look so scared you can't even see the snakes."
"You just spoke parseltongue, that's why you can understand the snake." I turned back to the snakes and it just nodded its head. The two snakes turned there heads around.
"She can speak parseltongue no one is aloud to hurt her or her friend." I turned to Cedric.
"They told the other snakes I can speak parseltongue and said we can go in and they can't hurt us." I started walking in and so did Cedric. A snake came beside Cedric and he got scared, he grabbed my hand.
"They would be a cute couple." I turned to the snake that said that.
"I heard that." The snake smirked and slithered away.
