(I know this is fast paced but there's a certain part I wanna get to so-)
"UGHHH GET THIS CHILD OUT OF MEEEEE" I yelled to no one in particular BUT
Sharife was on the phone now.
So, a lil update, it's a girl💗. We wanna name her Nadia. We wanted to have a baby shower or sum but.. corona so we just let the doctor tell Te'a and Destiny the gender and we did a quick lil gender reveal.
"Chill, not too much longer" He said, shooting around.
Immediately, she stopped acting up.
"Oh nah, Rife you need to come back. She acts sooo good when she hears you like what the hell"
"I'm like that"
"Yeah, okay" I said.
We talked for some time but he had to go to practice. They have a game in 2 days.
I waddled downstairs, hearing Omar talking to someone heatedly on the phone.
I didn't listen in too much but he sounded pissed.
"Stupid ass organization" He said once he hung up.
"What's wrong pops?" I asked, sitting down.
"So apparently Auburn been paying people to yknow commit to them and they think we participated in the activity"
"... soooo ?"
"So he's under investigation which means he's ineligible to play for right now"
Ohhhh fuck.
My eyes widened and I kinda sat up.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes!"
I blinked rapidly.
"They think that because we got money we was paid by then man fuck them! I earned this shit on my own! Excuse my french"
I nodded, already knowing.
"So Auburn's saying he can't play"
"Nah, the NCAA"
I smacked my lips.
"Now I-"
Then his phone rang.
Sharife calling...
Coop answered and immediately all I hear is Sharife yelling on the phone.
"FUCK THEY TALM BOUT I CANT PLAY? DAD! WHAT THE FUCK IS THEY PROBLEM BRO?!"
Coop sighed deeply, and I could hear Rife sniffing on the other end.
Yeah lil Nadia was not feeling that.
She started kicking hard and I hissed, crying out.
"That's Kay? She good? What's going on? Why she making that noise?"
"Nadia" I said and he sighed.
"If I can't go to Florida Ima be home tomorrow, aight?"
"Aight" Coop said and they hung up.
I bit my lip, as my leg shook.
"He gon raise hell"
"As he should. Cause what the hell..." I said, still trying to wrap my head around it.
"Now I gotta try and do some damage control" He said, getting up and I sighed.
Louie came and sat next to me on the couch, licking my stomach.
