As that memory of months before replayed in my head, I relayed all the information on the acceptance letter in my hand. We had already gotten my robes, books, potions supplies, wand (13 inches, Holly, with Phoenix feather), and everything else. Then I realized that I had forgotten the most important thing, my pet. On my acceptance letter, it said that we could bring a cat, a toad, or an owl.

"Mom, can I go get an owl? I won't have to use one of those slow school owls, it could be a good investment." I said trying to sound like my father at one of his meetings.

"Well it seems like a good idea. Sure dear, go ahead." She said with a smile on her face.

"Thank you mom!" I said, running to Eeylops Owl Emporium. As I ran into the shop, I bumped into someone.

"Sorry!" I murmured, embarrassed.

"It's okay, I'm always happy to bump into you." Said a familiar voice. I looked up and saw Cedric.

"Hi Cedric! How are you? I've missed you so much, have you gotten my letter yet?" I said excitedly.

"I'm fine, and no not yet, but i'm sure it will come soon." He said with a smile on his face.

"I was going to pick out an owl, you know, before I bumped into you." I said.

"Me too, I was just leaving." He said, holding up a beautiful snowy white owl.

"His name is Camelot, he just stood out to me." He said with a grin

"I think he's beautiful." I said

"Thank you, I think I better get going, mother might get worried. I'll send you a letter soon, I promise."

"Okay, bye Ced!" I said with a smile.

I decided to pick out a brown and and golden barn owl, who I decided to name, since she was a girl, Rain.

Soon after we left Diagon alley, to go back home and await the first term to start.
