SUN-HI {BTS 8TH MEMBER}

a rainy day in the dorm

around 2 am the night before, sun-hi was tossing and turning all night and just couldn't get herself to fall asleep. so, she slowly tiptoed her way into taehyung's room next door where she quietly slipped into the bed cuddled up next to him, and quickly and easily fell asleep as soon as he sleepily wrapped his arm around her waist. usually, sun would be worried about waking someone up or disturbing tae, but recently this was becoming a common, almost every night, thing.

because of this, yoongi was a little scared, to say the least, when jin had begged him to go wake up sun. eventually, he made his way into taehyung's room, where he found sunnie and tae cuddled up together under the covers. he lightly shook sun's arm and brushed some of the hair out of her face before quietly humming, "sunnie, jin hyung needs your help this morning."

sun grunted and pulled the covers closer over her face, but soon realized yoongi wasn't going anywhere until she got up. he shook her arm once more, and with that she growled and rolled up out of the bed, mumbling "you're lucky I like you yoongi", as she made her way to her room to get herself together before going downstairs to help jin. sun left taehyung to sleep for a little while longer, even though she knew he would probably wake up soon feeling that she had left the bed.

"ohhh good morning sunnie!" jin said energetically, knowing that she probably wasn't even fully awake yet. "can you help me make breakfast for everyone else?" sun smiled and nodded, offering to cut up some fruit and toast some bread to go with the eggs that jin was frying. 

sun was busy chopping strawberries when she felt someone hug her from behind and wrap their arms around her waist. she turned around to see a sleepy jimin with a smile on his face, saying good morning as he nuzzled his head into her shoulder. sun let his embrace take her attention for just a second, smiling and leaning back into his hug while saying a quick "good morning jiminie"

"go, jimin-ah! you're distracting my only good helper!" jin jokingly scolded jimin as he handed sun bowls for all of the fruit she had prepared. jimin and sun both laughed as they joined the rest of the members at the table for breakfast.

as everyone began cleaning up their plates from breakfast, hoseok asked with a smile, "would anyone want to come with me to do some shopping today?" jin and namjoon agreed to go out with j-hope, which left jungkook, yoongi, taehyung, jimin, and sun-hi to find something to do for the day, as none of them had a schedule for the day, for once. 

she walked over to the glass door that lead to the backyard, only to see that it was rainy and the sky was covered with gray clouds. 

she headed back towards the kitchen and suggested the rest of them stay in to watch a movie and relax for the rainy day. the group quickly agreed, and taehyung offered to help sun-hi finish cleaning up after breakfast while the others picked a movie and prepared some pillows and blankets. 

"did you sleep well?" sun asked as tae handed her a few dirty plates from the table. 

"i did until you left my bed," he said with a slight smile, which of course caused a pink blush to quickly rise onto sun's cheeks. she turned away from him to pick up some more dirty utensils from the dining table, but also to hide the blush from taehyung. but taehyung quickly picked up on her sudden shyness, which was not common for them, and gently spun her around by her shoulder so she was facing him and lifted her face up with a single gentle finger of her chin. 

they held eye contact for what felt like hours until they were interrupted by the sounds of jungkook and jimin loudly making their way into the kitchen to find snacks for the group while they watch their movies. 

taehyung being the one who initiated the flirting with sun-hi was not common, which is why she was taken aback and couldn't even think of one of her usual witty responses for sarcastic jokes. she stood in the kitchen watching the three boys bicker over what snacks to get for the movie day as thoughts of why she was just affected so much by taehyung began to swirl through her mind. 

before she knew it, sun was distracted from her thoughts by jimin grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the living room, where the rest of the group had already settled. sun and jimin ended up settling down on the floor on some pillows, as they were the last two to join the group, but sunnie was more than happy, as she cuddled up next to jimin and her many fuzzy blankets.
