Oobleck: "Ruby, DLTA! I thought I told you to leave all of your bags at school!"

Connor takes a tube out of his mouth a bit upset. Ruby replies.

Ruby: "You haven't told us to listen to you yet... So I didn't."

Wilhelm: "No way that'll-"

Oobleck: "She's not wrong. Very well Ruby, leave it here and you can get it upon our return."

Wilhelm slow blinked and didn't even question the logic, Connor was happily drinking water from his camelbak.

Connor: "These hold our water, and the vest- our ammo."

Oobleck: "Very well. Although I'm sure your melee weapons are much more effective at dispatching Grimm."

Paul: "We know, but we're better at shooting."

 Ruby: "But wait I uh..."

Oobleck: "Ruby! What could possibly be so important that you-"

Zwei popped his head out of the bag, making all of the agents facepalm.

Paul: "You just had to bring Zwei."

Oobleck: "We're here to investigate an abandoned jungle teeming with hostile creatures, death and hostility... And you brought... A dog..."

Ruby: "I... Uh..."

Oobleck: "Genius!"

Edward: "That went a whole 'nother way than I thought it would, funny innit?"

Wilhelm: "Yeah... Well... I've just realized that this world has a lot of illogical stuff but you know what?"

Connor: "What."

Wilhelm: "Is the Foundation that different?"

Paul: "SSSSSSSSSSSSS.... No."

Blake: "... So what are your orders doctor?"

Oobleck: "Ah yes straight to the chase! I like it! As you've been informed, the southeast area has been marked as a hotspot for Grimm activity. Now, there are several explanations for Grimm activity. One of which being... Grimm..."

Ruby: "uhhh what?"

Oobleck: "Grimm, a creature of Grimm approximately one-hundred yards from us as of this moment."

Yang: "What?"

Connor: "Finally I get something to shoot."

Everyone draws their weapons aiming down their sights. Paul was heard chambering a round into 'Whispering Darkness' until Oobleck made Paul lower is weapon.

Oobleck: "Stop."

Everyone: "?"

Oobleck: "There are a number of reasons why Grimm congregate in this particular area. Most likely of which would be their attraction to negativity, envy, loneliness, sadness, and hatred... All qualities that are likely held by our hidden group harboring ill intent."

Edward: "So, in other words, any emotion that is bad from us is attractive to them? Sounds like my sister!"

*Small chuckles*

Ruby: "So... What now?"

 Oobleck: "We wait, we track. If this specimen leads us to its pack, that pack may subsequently lead us to our prey."

Wilhelm: "Yay."

Blake: "How long do we wait?"

Oobleck: "It is uncertain... Hours, days, weeks, why? Lone Grimm have been known to stay isolated for months - and there's the whole pack."
