Chapter 16

I woke up to the sunlight creeping in my room. I rolled over and unplugged my phone from the charger and unlocked it. I decided to FaceTime Jess, I was too lazy to go and walk to her room... It rings for a couple second then she answers and I see the ceiling and I know she's still home. "You know you can just walk over to my room right?" I laugh and hang up. Then I hear a muffled "fuck you" and I started laughing.

I ran into Jessica's room and jumped on her bed. He room was nice although it was a little messy. She walks out her bathroom with just a towel and comes toward me. "Wassup yo! Get off my clothes your going to wrinkle them!" I roll over looking up at the ceiling. As she starts to get dressed. "You know you going to have to tell him today missy." I groaned I didn't want to tell him that my mom's ex boyfriend was sexually attracted to me. No, I wasn't raped or anything. He was just really weird and would always say my name weird and "try" to touch me. Every time he said my name I cringed inside it disgusted me. It got so bad that I just had people call me by my middle name: Ava. Then this one day I got sick of him and I decided to tell my mom. Of corse she did not believe me so I decided to leave. "Well? Done thinking? Call him. Or I will!" I return to the world and look over at her and she was already fully dressed. i rolled my eyes and took out my phone and texted Pete.

He texted me back in like .5 seconds.

Wow, he called me his girl .

мe: aт нoмe, do yoυ wanт тo do ѕoмeтнιng тoday? jυѕт мe and yoυ :).

Pete's POV
Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz, all this buzzing. I take my left hand and look around for my phone. I find it under my pillow and look at my phone. I sat straight up and read the message from Ava.

Oh my gosh she texted me first! WHAT THE HELL THIS IS AMAZING.

I ran my fingers through my hair and just stared at my phone and saw the thing that ment she was typing.

My heart started beating so fast I got up and walked into my bathroom.

After I texted Brendan.

So I turned on the water in the shower and I got in.
Ava's POV
I sat on Jessica's bed and read the message as she was doing her hair.
"OH MY GOSH HES COMING IN TWO HOURS!!" "Well you better go get dressed and take a shower and SHAVE!" I shot her a dirty look and went into my bathroom and started the shower.
