(Y/N) POV:
But I didn't notice his feelings either, I guess in that way we're not so different.

Monday December 31st

A knock was on my door at ten at night. Taiyou said he'd show up at my door to pick me up after six but ten is so much later than I thought it'd be.

"Ready?" He asked.

"No shit. I've been waiting since six thirty." I stepped out of my dorm and locked the door behind me.

"Well excuse me princess."

"Shut up and walk." I laughed.

Taiyou laughed along and led the way to his car. Just like before, I had no idea where we were heading, only that it would be a fun night one way or another.

I sat in the front seat as Taiyou slid across the hood and fell to the floor once again. I was about to get out of the car and help him up but a thumbs up came up from the floor with Taiyou soon following suit. Taiyou quickly sat in the car and I stared at him with disbelief.

"What?" Taiyou tilted his head in a cat-like manner.

"Just trying to figure out how one can be so dumb."

"Aww thanks." He held his hands over his heart. "Anyways before we go I need you to wear this."

Taiyou shuffled around the backseat and pulled something out. I looked down at what he held out and saw.. "A blindfold?"

"Yup."

"Why though?"

"We're going to my secret location and I must have no witnesses to how to get there. If you take it off I might have to kill you." Taiyou kept a straight face before erupting in laughter. "I'm joking but wear the mask or I'll carry you home bridal style."

"What kind of threat is that?" I asked.

"I see you have chosen the bridal style option."

Taiyou moved to unbuckle his seatbelt but I grabbed his arm. He stopped and smirked like I had followed his plan. I took the blindfold from his hand and held it in my lap.

"As much as I'd love to put that blindfold on you myself dear, I have to drive or we'll miss the event!" Taiyou pulled the car out of the parking lot with a wink.

I hesitantly put the blindfold on but very loosely. In the case of Taiyou turning out to be some psycho serial killer I could just rip off the blindfold and run. Though I doubt that to be the case, it never hurts to be prepared.

About an hour of small talk and light music later, the car stopped. I felt it move in reverse. I figured Taiyou was parking but it took too long.

I lifted the blindfold with my thumb just enough to see out of one eye. "What is-"

"Shit! You're not supposed to look yet!" Taiyou jumped a little in a panic as the car came to a full stop.

Yet it was too late. I saw it. The bright lights, the sign saying the location was closed, the rusty equipment. I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life yet I didn't know where we were. It was a park of some sort, I knew that much, but I'd never been here before. Still something about it captured me.

"Just take the blindfold off, you already saw." Taiyou sighed in defeat.

I took the blindfold off completely and looked over to the driver's seat. Taiyou was already gone, he moved so quick yet so quiet. A knock on my window startled me and when I turned to look, Taiyou was standing right there.

He threw the door open and I almost thought it'd rip off the car. He stood there with a wide grin and his hand held out like a coachmen escorting out royalty.
