--Sydney's POV--
My cheeks were still bright red by the time we stopped on the 15th floor, and I was almost hoping that they would've all decided to go out somewhere so I'd have time to compose myself. I didn't want to meet someone as internationally recognized as them with windswept hair, eyeliner probably running down my cheeks, and bright red cheeks.
No such luck, naturally. As soon as Niall opened the door, all four of them came forward to see where he had been. I was watching them through a curtain of my hair, and could see the confused looks on their faces.
"Please tell me you didn't drug some poor girl!" Louis said after a moment, and I couldn't help but laugh a little.
"Nah, she's just hiding," Niall said, laughing off the accusation.
"Are you sure?" Harry asked, stepping closer and trying to look underneath my hair.
"I'm conscious if that's what you're looking to see," I said, making him jump, and Niall laughed.
"Why are you hiding?" Harry asked gently.
"Because I look like a wreck and I'm tired," I mumbled in response.
"She's going to be hanging with us for a while," Niall said simply.
"Did you talk to Paul about plane tickets?" Liam asked, none of them putting up any resistance.
"I probably should do that, shouldn't I?" Niall asked.
"Actually, what you should do is take me home so I can actually prepare for travel and not just basically kidnap me without letting me get anything."
"You agreed to come along," he protested.
"It was either that or possibly have you actually kidnap me so I figured I'd save you the legal trouble." I said simply.
"We have most of tomorrow off," Zayn offered. "We could take you we here you need to go then."
"He's my favorite," I said loudly, making them all laugh.
"What about me?" Niall asked. I mentally glared at him.
"Not even close." I said. I hoped he knew I was serious. I still was wishing that I could've flown off that building, dead before I even hit the ground.
"Don't be mean, Sydney," he said, lightly smacking my leg. I rolled my eyes.
"I still would like to go home tonight, even if it's just to grab pajamas and a toothbrush." I said, changing topics.
"What time is it?" Niall asked.
"Like, almost midnight," Liam said.
"Then just wait it out. I'm sure we've got something you can sleep in and they can provide toothbrushes, just for one night," Niall suggested. I sighed.
"Fine. But I get the bathroom first!" I said, jumping off his back and darting in there, locking the door behind me. I just wanted to shower and get through tonight so I could get my clothes and other necessities, if they were really taking me on tour. The hot water actually felt really good, but I forced myself to get out of there quickly, so as not to waste their water.
"Hey Sydney?" Niall called, knocking on the door. "I've got something for you to wear," I quickly wrapped a towel around myself, then opened the door just enough to snatch up the clothes, tossing a 'thank you' through the closed door. Thankfully, he didn't give me a pair of boxers, instead I got a pair of sweatpants of a muscle tank top.
I slowly redressed myself in the new clothes, and started blow drying my hair. I can't stand sleeping with it wet. By the time it was dry, it was probably well after midnight, but my hair was perfectly dry and soft, so I didn't particularly mind.
"Finally," Niall groaned when I opened the door. "Our room's next door." I almost froze at the words 'our room' before I realized that of course I'd be sharing, there were six of us, now, in need of a room, so everyone would have a roommate.
I followed him to our room, quickly claiming the bed closest to the window by pouncing on it dramatically. He laughed at my antics, but otherwise didn't comment.
"Goodnight, Sydney," he said, dropping into his own bed.
"Goodnight." I mumbled back. I got the feeling he wanted to say something else, but he stayed silent, so I just rolled over, somehow falling almost instantly asleep.

When I woke up, Niall was still fast asleep, so I took the liberty of ordering room service. On their tab. He slept through my ordering the food, and the delivery, waking up just as I started to eat my pancakes on the balcony. He practically ran onto the balcony, looking worried.
"What's wrong?" I asked, sucking the syrup off my fork. He blushed a little.
"Since you weren't inside, I thought maybe you'd jumped," he mumbled. I smiled a little.
"A promise is a promise. You don't have to worry about me for a month. I didn't know what you wanted so I ordered you some pancakes and fruit." He nodded, walking back in to get his food, then joining me to eat.
"So where do you live?" He asked, looking out over the city.
"In an apartment complex over that way. About a ten minute car ride." I pointed to our right. He nodded again.
"Alright. After we eat we can head over there, then you can help us set up for the show!" He sounded so excited, I almost hated to be anything less.
"Are you sure you want me on tour with you guys?" I asked, unable to keep myself from sounding bitter.
"Of course. I promised you the best month of your life, you can't get that sitting on a couch at home. After all, a promise is a promise."
