Archer Kent's p.o.v.

I sprinted towards my black Lamborghini and  instantly called  Maria to cancel all my meeting for today. Maria is a forty year old lady and my assistant for the past 2 years and she witnessed how I love my wife so much.

I drive towards our house and when I got there I practically run towards the basement . When i got there a foul smell instantly invaded my nose and I ignore it.

When I opened the door darkness is all I could see. I used my phone for source of light and in the corner I could see A figure sitting on the cold and wet tiles naked.

Tears fell from eyes and in this moment I feel sorry. I feel sorry for myself and regretted everything that i did towards her.

"Baby" my voice echoed in this four wall room

I stood infront of her with my tears continuously flowing on my cheeks, I could see her naked body full of bruises, burns and cuts in different parts  of her body.

I fell on my knees and cup her face. Her left eye is turning blue and its close, her pink lip that taste like heaven was now a shade of violet and her left cheek has a deep cut and other parts of her face..well I ..could.. say that her face is not in a good state.

"Baby....baby..I...I..I am so sorry please forgive me I didn't mean..please!" I said then I could hear mom and dad talking upstairs probably asking one of the maids here.

I remove my blazer and put it on her. I know she's not asleep but why did she refuse to talk to me shes just quiet

Of  course she would stay quiet dumbass remember you beat her until she pass out if you heard her talks

I know so shut the hell up

I stand up and unlock the drawers and pick the light bulb and exchange the broken bulb then switch it on

I hear gasp at my back and I turn around to see my mom and dad looking at my wife.

My mom walks slowly and approach her with pure sadness...
"Archer! What...what..why is she like that?"my mom said
"Honey..shh everything will be fine right son?" Dad said with tears in his eyes
"Oh my gosh We accused her of something she didn't even do. I.....I..I even slap her..and...then..she beg...beg" I couldn't complete what she said because he started crying. My dad look at me with so much sadness and disappointment in her eyes.

I walk towards Aubrey who keep her eyes shut because of the sudden light that invades her eyes.

Try to lock up yourself in this basement for three months you asshole
My subconscious said

I walk towards her and pick her up shes so light

Then I walk outside the basement but I made sure first to cover her private parts securely with   my blazers. Wouldn't want my guards to see her naked

With a heavy heart i ascended upstairs and open our room. I turn on the light first and put her on the bed.

Shit! She's hungry god I sprinted downstairs then cook her favorite after a while of cooking I enter the room with a bowl of chicken soup and her favorite lasagna. I found my mom and dad who talks to her but Aubrey just keep her eyes close..well her right eye cause her left eye is already close.

"Aubrey! talk to me please! I am very sorry for what we've done to you"mom said

Mom always wanted to have a daughter but after a tragic accident that leads  to her cannot bear another child my mom was devastated. She always told me that she wanted to have a beautiful and caring daughter in-law.

On my 18th birthday I proposed to Aubrey and my Mom was  so happy about it. I even ask Aubrey not to study college and just stay at home and be my wife like I wanted her to. After all  gave her everything that she  wanted.

"Sir, Mr. James is here..." the maid was cut off by Cris who barged in and starts yelling Damn.

"Its ok Martha you can go now" i said

"I told you Archer she's innocent but you didn't listen to me and now.... Ohh...no dont cry you ASSHOLE! you deserve to rot in hell..I told you many times that Aubrey couldn't do such a thing haven't you realize that Aubrey cannot even go outside without bodyguards! And besides she hated shopping for goodness sake!" Cris my bestfriend says with tears streaming down his cheeks

" Chris will you shut up" I said
"Why would I stop I jut wanted you to realize how much of a douchebag you are!" He said
"I know! I am fucked up big time ok!"I said

Then I grab the tray with soup and lasagna and walks towards her.

"Mom Dad can you please leave us alone I'll just talk to you later" I said

"Ok honey we will wait outside"my mom said
Then dad pats my back and smiles bitterly

"And Chris you too"

".." I heard no response that followed by a loud bang.

"Hey baby you can open your eyes now" I said but she keeps closing her eyes
I walks towards the location of the switch and turn off the light. Darkness envelops the whole room since the curtains were closed. I didn't open the curtains so that she wouldn't blinded by the lights.

Tsk! Imagine yourself haven't seen the sun and only darkness in three months Asshole  my subconscious said

I knee infront of her then made her look at me. Her right eye opens slowly and i could see her ones bright green eyes now are dull and lifeless  staring at my blue ones.

I burst into tears and I cried loudly. I pick the bowl of soup and feed her while I was crying.

After so many attempts I gave up she wont eat I am starting to get worried.

Why wouldn't she eat isn't she starving. Shit! I didn't gave her food for the last two days!

"Aubrey open your mouth please, Baby! Open, you need to eat please" but my begging just fall on deaf ears. Its like she can't hear me.

After my attempt to make her eat I pick her up and walks towards the bathroom. I open the door and make her sit at the tub . I take the blazer off of her and turn the tap but made sure its warm.

I grab the shower hose and  slowly clean her wounds
