Ever since she escaped the simulation, she became way more calculating and intelligent, but also cynical and untrusting, as well as paranoid about getting stuck in another simulation. _______ Interests Nikki researches various forms of technology, mainly virtual simulations and augmented reality technology, as well as politics, science, psychology, and medicine, mostly in case she gets captured and put into a simulation again, so that she would know how to escape. She also learned combat to fight back against attackers and avoid being captured. ________________ Additional Information In the Chinese version of the first game in the series, Nikki UP2U, Nikki is referred to as 苏暖暖 (Sū Nuǎnnuǎn) in the item description of her default hair, implying that her family name is Su. In Chinese, the character 苏 (Su) means "to revive" or "to resurrect", while the character 暖 (Nuan) means "warm". The name roughly translates to "reviving warmth". The name "Nikki" translates to "Diary" from Japanese.
