Houston, Texas. Damn it feels good to be home. I know yall probably wondering what has happened since the last time you saw me. Which was at my parents wedding; 17 years ago. Wow their getting old.
Anyways, after that my mom had already given birth Jovon who was 6 months old at the time and i was 5. Crazy thing is Lauren and Alyssa move pretty quickly. They decided to have a child after being together for a year. Lauren gave birth to a beautiful girl who i have grown to have strong feelings for.
With our parents being close friends; we basically grew up together. Since I'm older than her is like im her big sister.
She's currently 17; that's the problem. The last time I saw her was when I came home last year for Christmas. When I graduated high school I moved to Florida where I attended college. I just moved back to Houston today. I'm going to be staying with my parents until I can find me a place. Which shouldn't be hard since I've been looking and I think I have a few options.
Right now I'm at the airport waiting on my parents to come pick me up. I see a white Mercedes truck pull up and a tiny women instantly hops out. That tiny women would be my mama.
" AUBREY MY BABY" she runs over to me and hugs me kissing me all over my face.
"Hey mama, I missed you too" I say chuckling and hugging her back. I see my dad walking up to us
" Damn baby you gone squeeze her to death" she says to my mama and then lets me go
" Megan I haven't seen my baby since Christmas" she says while pouting and my dad chuckles and rolls her eyes
" Hey Princess" she says and hugs me. I find it funny how she still calls me Princess
" Hey Pa, I missed you guys so much" I tell them. I hear sniffles and I look over seeing that my mom is still crying.
" Ma, are you pregnant?" I ask her curiously and she glares at me. Well she stopped crying then
" Aubrey Lynn Pete do not get slap" she says and huffs then walks to the car. I turn to look at my dad and she mouths ' She's on her period' and I nod then grabs some of my bags while she gets the others.
"Mama I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. You were just being very emotional. And the last time I saw you like that was when you were pregnant with Bria" I apologize to her and she looks at me through the rear view mirror.
" It's fine Aubrey, I don't care no more. It's not like you hurt my feelings or anything." She says and sighs
"Ma" I say
" Aubrey I'm just fucking with you. I really don't care." She says and laughs. She play too damn much.
During the car ride back to the house we just talk about how college was and what I plan on doing.
