Spencer, Hanna, and I make our way down the steps. All eyes were on us. I could see Klaus standing by the door, welcoming people in. Elijah stood by the bar with Hayley by his side, carefully scanning the crowd. Rebekah stood at the bottom of the steps with Marcel next to her. I couldn't help but feel sorry for these vampires. I mean they are trying to protect us and they have their own problems to deal with.
"Stop feeling so bad! My mind is swirling!" I hear Spencer hiss and Hanna and I mumble apologies. Guess I wasn't the only one.
Spencer is the first to be escorted, by Marcel nonetheless. Her salmon colored gown trails along behind her as she follows Marcel to the center of the floor where a spotlight stays on them.
"Presenting Spencer Hastings and Marcel Mikaelson! Dancing the first dance to The Other Side!" Klaus's amused voice speaks from a microphone and I lock eyes with the blonde original. He smirks at me and I blush slightly as he winks at me. Oh gosh, Aria, he is having a child!
I quickly switch eyes to Marcel and Spencer, but something catches my eye on the left. I glance at it and feel my heart race. He's here. The man gave me a look and nods to the side. I squeeze Hanna's hand and feel her heart beat faster next to me. I'm guessing she saw the same man. He again nods to the side. I glance at Hanna who nods for me to go and I shake my head silently shifting my eyes to Klaus's direction. Hanna quickly nods and casually leaves my side saying she needs to get a drink. Taking a deep breath, I turn to Rebekah and smile at her.
"You look beautiful, Rebekah." I smile and she raises an eyebrow at me before smiling back, "Why, thank you, Aria. You look stunning in that plum gown."
I blush again and she laughs at my rosy red cheeks. I felt a gust of wind and a strange warm feeling by my arm. I look up and meet clear blue eyes. The eyes held a disgracing look and they looked hard and intensely into mine.
"Aria, why did Hanna leave your side to go talk to someone at the bar?" His voice sending shivers down my spine as I look anywhere but his eyes. They were quite persistent. I am pretty sure he was trying to compell me or something.
"She said she needed a drink." I manage to utter out as I look back at him. He scrunches his eyebrows together to scrutinize my answer before nodding and holding out his arm for me to take. I take it and he leads us to the grand dancefloor of the courtyard and places a warm hand on the small of my back, drawing me in. We float across the dancefloor as his eyes linger on mine, gazing deep into my soul. Our minds trained on nothing except this moment in time.
I don't know if it was the fact that something blew through my side or his eyes leaving mine for a nano second, but I got a gut feeling that things were going downhill.
Ariaaa
I whip my head to the side and immediately feel air rushing past me. Searching the crowd, I realize that I was no longer with Klaus but in someone else's arms. I struggle only to get a tightened grip around my waist. I look down and catch a glimpse of blond locks."Ally?" I mutter before being thrown onto soft, dewed grass. My skirt flies up before I settle it back down and stare into the dark night. Nothing at all. Just trees and grass. Where the hell am I?
Suddenly a branch grabs hold of my wrist, pulling me up. I grab the branch and send a flame through it, breaking it down quickly. Pretty soon all sides of me were tree branches and roots and vines trying to hold me still. With each flick of my wrists, one by one they die instantly.
"Ally! Where are you?" I call out in fear and anger before a body is thrown at my smaller one.
"Aria? Is that you?" The figure above me mumbles painfully and I open my hazel eyes to catch Hanna's blue ones staring back at me, "Hanna! Are you alright?"
"Yeah, but he took my power." She whispers before falling limp on me. I slowly move her to one side before reaching into my bodice to see if I could find my phone. My hands graze the metal object and I quickly pull it out to dial Klaus's number.
"Aria?! Where are you?" Klaus hastily asks and I stutter, "I have no idea, but Hanna is with me and she lost a lot of power. Ask Spencer and Davina to do a search spell. We don't have much time. A is here."
Before Klaus could answer, my phone gets thrown across the valley and into the river by some unseen force. Widening my eyes, I turn my head to see a black cloaked figure standing by the forest. You couldn't see the face but the red eyes flicked shut before the figure zooms into the sky.
Is A not human? If so, what is it?
