Hajime's POV.

I sat, uncomfortable, in my desk with my exam in front of me. My heart pounded in my chest and sweat dripped down my forehead slowly. Here I was at 3:30 PM, sitting at school doing the most important test of the year, the one that can officially declare me as something noteable, which has been my dream all along. Nagito was probably waiting at the train station right now, and that thought lurked in my mind, irritating me and holding my focus hostage. I took a ragged, deep breath.

"Focus, Hajime."

I whispered under my breath. I slowly picked up my pencil and wrote down a few words, but then I felt my hands go numb and my pencil dropped down onto the paper, leaving marks on where it had landed. This exam was the exam to become the ultimate Hope, something Nagito always wanted to become, as if his ultimate Luck wasn't enough for him. Nagito loved hope with all his heart, and he strived to be a symbol of hope. However, he never reached that goal, and left the town before he got to.

I checked my watch again. 3:50. I sighed again and sat still in my chair. I had written about 7 words in total on this exam, my mind just couldn't focus. My hands were shaking too much that I couldn't grip my pencil properly. I lay my head on my desk and closed my eyes, holding back stress filled tears.

4:25. 5 minutes.

Then it happened. I stood up on my own and yelled.

"I have to go!"

"Mr. Hinata, you may not leave during this exam."

"I need to be somewhere quick!"

"Mr. Hinata you will be expelled."

"Then.."

"Then what?"

"Then I drop out!"

With that, I dashed out the classroom, then out of the college, I ran as fast as my feet could take me, all the way to the train station. Once I reached it, I checked my watch.

4:30.

And Nagito wasn't here.

I missed it.

"Hey, Hajime? What are you doing here?"

Quickly, I whipped my head around to see Nagito standing there with bags packed. "I-It's a surprise seeing you here, Hina." He said with a soft smile. "N-..Nagito..? B-But your train!" I leaped into Nagito's arm and sobbed. "I-I'm sorry.." Nagito held my face to his. "Hina, Don't apologize. I-I deserved it. But I have to go.." I looked at him angrily with tears pouring down my face. "No! I'm coming with you!" He looked surprised. "Huh? You are?" "Yes! I am!" Nagito smiled. "Well, it's a good thing my train got rescheduled to 6:30 PM. So we have time to go back to the college and pack."

The college was only about 5 minutes away from the train station, and I didn't have very many things to pack in the first place, so getting there, packing, and coming back only took about 20 minutes.

We sat on the snow, waiting for the train to arrive. "Hey..Hina..Can I ask you something..?" I nodded. "Can we..date please? I love you and I want to be your boyfriend.." I turned to Nagito with a smile. "Of course! I love you too!" I said as I lifted Nagito's hand a planted a soft kiss onto it. Nagito covered his mouth and blushed. "Hahah!" I laughed.

Eventually, the train came and me and Nagito boarded it. We sat in the two chairs that were side by side and held hands as the train took off. "Gosh, I am tired." Nagito said while looking out at the falling snow. Nagito rested his head on my shoulder and quickly dozed off. "Nghh..I love you Hajimee..zzz.."

I fell asleep to the sounds of the train and the winds of the outside, happy that this all turned out well. I know tomorrow will be a busier day, and I should get some rest for it. "Goodnight, Ko." I whispered into Nagito's ear as he softly snored on my shoulder. With that, I fell asleep.
