New Spanish Teachers

This Spanish teacher has just started her teaching career and loves to send kids to the office for the dumbest reasons.
Instance number one:
Helping a fellow student.

A kid got sent to the office for helping another kid with a worksheet. Now let me further explain. We'll call the kid who needed help John, the kid who tried helping him Derek and the teacher Ms. Smith. John tried getting Ms. Smith's attention so that he could get some help. She kept passing him and never answered him. Derek tried helping him and Ms. Smith told him to go to the office. He argued with her and everyone had his back but he got sent to the office anyways.

Instance number two:
Talking "across" the room.

In my Spanish class, there are eleven students. Of those eleven students, about six of them were talking across the room. Of those six, only two got warnings. One of the kids who weren't talking, talked across the room once. He was told to go to the office. The Spanish teacher, quote on quote said "I gave you a warning". She was wrong. She didn't give him a warning. He said he wasn't gonna go unless someone came with him. He fought with her for like five minutes. A couple kids volunteered To go with him but the teacher told them to sit down. One of the kids yelled noose and got to go with him. Also, when we talk to people diagonal from us, it's considered across the room.

Instance number three:
Noose is a bad word.

In this class, we like to shoot rubber bands. One of the kids found two rubber bands tied together and said "This would make a good noose." Just jokingly said it, he didn't mean anything by it. Our teacher freaked out and said it's inappropriate and racist. They tried explaining to her that nooses don't only refer to slavery times, that it also refers to back in the olden days when criminals were hung. She wouldn't listen to it. So some kids kept saying noose and she started writing up detentions and sending people to the office. Now whenever somebody noose once they go to the office. No warnings.

Instance number four:
Cracker is okay but the N word is not.

My Spanish teacher believes that saying cracker is not the same as saying the n word, because the n word has more history behind it. We, meaning the entire class, fought against her saying that they both were racial slurs and shouldn't be used. She fought with us saying the cracker wasn't as bad as saying the n word. She was then asked if she was a liberal. One of the kids started saying that she hated white people, that she hates her own kind. She got mad and said that the discussion was over, but we kept fighting her about it. So when someone says cracker its either a warning they get or an instant detention with out a warning.
