I edited the last chapter, so, now it doesn't say how long Kol wanted to dagger Klaus.

After many failed attempts to leave, Kol decided to stay and get ready for the ball. (Not that he had much of a choice after Finn asked him)

Kol didn't understand why he so easily agreed to stay just because Finn asked even though he refused Esther and his other siblings and neither did Finn understand how he just knew that Kol would agree if he was the one to ask.

Kol went to sleep after a long day of being introduced to the new world and informed of the trouble that his siblings are facing.

Kol's dream
Kol was laying on the cold floor in the middle of a dark room, screaming in agony at the unbearable pain that he felt in his chest.

The pain that he only felt the moment the dagger made contact with his skin, he usually only feels the pain when the dagger is being stabbed into his chest or removed, but this wasn't the case at the moment.

"Damn it, Rebekah." Kol cursed under his breath in pain as he remembered how he got daggered.

Rebekah, his sister, betrayed him and told Niklaus about his plan.

It's because of her that Niklaus and Elijah ended up daggering him in front of everyone at the party.

"Kol." A voice called on Kol.

Kol would've searched for the voice if it wasn't for the fact that he was in agony and felt as if his heart was being torn to shreds over and over again.

"Kol." The voice called again, and a sense of familiarity washed over the confused and in pain Kol, making him put an effort and sit up.

"Who are you?" Kol asked, pain clear in his voice.

"You shouldn't have done that, idiot." The same voice scolded before hitting Kol on the back of the head.

Kol would've fought with the person that did so, but he couldn't even sit properly, let alone fight with someone.

Kol groaned at the pain in his heart, completely ignoring the stranger, and slowly the dark, cold room he was in started regaining color and warmth.

Kol turned to look at the person that assaulted his head, only to find his oldest brother standing behind him.

"Finn?" Kol raised an eyebrow in question before memories assaulted his brain.

Memories of each time he was daggered or died temporarily--by methods that don't kill originals, such as; neck-snapping, wooden stake to the heart, being lit on fire, and so on--and that's when the realization hit Kol.

"I'm on the other side," Kol whispered earning a nod from Finn.

"Come, let's get you somewhere more comfortable." Finn extended his hand to Kol, making Kol remove his hand from over his heart and take Finn's hand.

In a matter of seconds, the 2 of them were in a huge room with a big comfortable bed in it.

If Kol hadn't gotten his memories from the other side, he would've been surprised and confused as to how Finn did that.

"Did you see it?" Kol asked Finn as the older helped him to bed. It was becoming a habit of Kol to ask Finn that question whenever he got sent to the other side.

"I saw it." Finn nodded with anger.

"They daggered me, in front of everyone at the party." Kol chuckled bitterly as he leaned his head on the bed rest.
