He was introduced as an SM Rookie on December 23, 2013. Ten joined NCT as part of the NCT U song "The 7th Sense". He wasn't in a fixed unit for almost 3 years until he was announced as a part of WayV, NCT's Chinese sub-unit. In 2019, he was announced as part of the SM supergroup SuperM. Ten released his first solo, "Dream in a Dream" on April 7, 2017. He made his official solo debut on February 13, 2024, with his self-titled first mini album.
