The robotic dinosaur's head fell down towards Chief Burns, Graham and Robin. Just before it hit them however Heatwave quickly reached a hand through a broken window and caught the head, saving the trio from being crushed. "I didn't tell it to do that." Kade said. "I wouldn't complain." Dani replied. "Your robot was still in rescue mode." Robin quickly covered. "You gave him the directive to save lives, so he did." Chief Burns added. "You're welcome, Graham." Kade gloated with a confident smirk, Dani sighing in exasperation. Heatwave growled lowly as he watched Kade take the credit, Robin, hearing the growl, discreetly shot him a look from the corner of her eye. The group soon got back to work as Cody and Alice watched the scene play out from their hiding spot. A drop of water suddenly dripped down onto Alice's face making her look up along with Cody at the large robotic T-Rex that loomed over them.

Not wanting to lose sight of the bots, Cody and Alice quickly exited the museum and followed after their family. Unknown to either of them the electrical wiring of the T-Rex dinobot crackled as it's eyes slowly powered up before glowing red.

Later That Night

Firehouse Garage

The Rescue Bots sat quietly in their alt-forms in the firehouse's garage before Heatwave transformed into his robot form and began walking around. "Where are you going?" Boulder asked. "I need some space." Heatwave replied, bending down to fiddle with a small control panel. "Chief said there's a bunker below street level. A relic of something they call the Cold War. Robin's already down there checking in with Optimus and something called parents." Heatwave pushed a lever which lowered the platform he, Chase and Boulder rested on. "Apparently we're getting some space, too." Chase said, he and Boulder transforming into robot mode. "Wait for me!" Blades called, transforming into his robot form and jumping down from his elevator platform to the lowering floor, the hatch above them closing.

Firehouse Loft

Up in the loft of the firehouse, all but Chief who was cooking in the kitchen sitting at the dinner table, sat the Burns family. Kade, Dani and Graham chatted away with each other as Cody quietly pushed around his food as Alice ate silently beside him. "I still don't get it." Cody spoke up. "How did Kade's robot know to-" "Pass the carrots, huh?" Dani cut in, Graham passing said bowl to her. "I noticed a glitch or two with my 'copter but at least I had it under control." Dani bragged, Kade shooting her a look. "A glitch is one thing, but I saw-" Cody began again only for his father to cut in as he set another bowl on the table. "Kade, Dani, Graham, you guys did great work today." Chief Burns complimented his older children, all of them beaming in appreciation. Cody frowned in frustration before Alice placed a comforting hand on his as she quietly asked her uncle. "May we be excused?"

Chief Burns nodded as Alice gently pulled Cody out of his seat and over to the nearby firepole, quietly sliding down it to the levels below.

Firehouse Bunker

Heatwave grunted, repeatedly punching the large wooden workout dummy in front of him. "Optimus or no Optimus, I don't know how long I can put up with this." Heatwave grunted in frustration. "Ordered around. Others taking the credit. Having to pretend we're tin cans." Heatwave growled, punching the ground in frustration. "Well, did you see the way my partner pilots me?" Blades said. "My controls are still sore. It's always "higher, higher, faster, faster". Still, it was nice being a part of an emergency response again." "I find our Chief quite competent." Chase spoke up. "There is much he can teach us about earth's law-enforcement procedure." "The humans do have strange ways, but that's what makes them so interesting." Boulder saaid, looking at a splatter painting he'd found.
