Chapter 10

Annabeth POV
I honestly should have known that a dreamless sleep meant that something would be messed up. And it didn't take more than one breath to know exactly what that was.

"PERCY. LEO. GET IN HERE OR SO HELP ME I WILL CUT OFF YOUR HEADS AND FEED THEM TO THE MINOTAUR!" I yelled. There was a crash and glass breaking when I saw the two of them run in to mine and Percy's room. They both fell to the ground and began begging for forgiveness.

"Annabeth please don't kill me. I swear I'll do anything. I'll sleep on the couch tonight if you want just please do not kill me I'd like to see the twins first please spare me 7 months," Percy pleaded. Leo was bowing while muttering apologies.

"What was going on?" I asked.

"Oh haha funny story. You see Leo wanted ice cream and I told him we had some so he came over but when he saw the ice cream he set his hands on fire but that spread and the towel got set on fire so we put that out and then you kinda woke up and here we are," Percy laughed nervously.

"Annabeth I still want my ice cream. And Calyspo won't let me have any at home. Plus Frank and Hazel were out since I raided their fridge a week ago. Grover, Juniper, Clarisse, Chris, Thalia, Jason, Piper, Katie, Travis, Connor, and Angelina ALL said I was already too hyper so they wouldn't share. Plus they're meanie pants," Leo ranted.

"Just don't burn down my apartment," I sighed.

Percy and Leo ran out, probably going to eat everything here but oh well. I decided I should probably get up so I took a shower and got dressed. I ended up wearing a purple tank top with shorts. I put on my converse and went to the kitchen where Percy and Leo had giant spoons eating all the ice cream. I rolled my eyes and went to the fridge.

'Hmm. Where's the- oh there it is' I pulled out the GoGurt box and started walking upstairs. Percy looked up but shook his head when he saw the GoGurt. (If you can't tell I love GoGurt)

I turned on the tv and all that was on was the news and some documentaries I've already seen. I decided to watch the news seeing as nothing else was on. But all it talked about was crop reports and that's technically not my problem. There was also something about Iowa crops not growing well last season (this is true. We can fail at crops) because of surprise May snow. There was also things about California's drought, something else with agriculture but I wasn't really listening because I was too busy enjoying my well deserved GoGurt because I'm an adult who does what she wants when I want.

"HEY UHH WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THE PAN CATCHES FIRE?" Percy yells up suddenly. Sure enough fire alarms go off after he finished that question. I rushed down the stairs and saw the fire wasn't the largest. 'Peace of cake' I thought. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and put the fire out. Obviously chicken was out because your chicken should not be the same color as your pan.

"Soo. Uh, since chicken is out, what's dinner because I'm hungry and there's nothing else..." Percy trails off awkwardly.

"I'm eating GoGurt either way. Pizza maybe? Then we can eat it here and I can still have my GoGurt!" I was proud to be able to save my GoGurt because that's the invention from the heavens.

"Okay. So. I'll order and you can have your GoGurt and everyone's happy."

"Yeah but there's only 5 boxes left so you need more so I can't run out."

"This is going to drive me bankrupt."
