What cowardly creatures we are
Hiding behind walls of
Deceit
And facades of
Contentment
To lead the wandering eye
To a simpler conclusion -
That we've possession of the pieces
And held them together
So as to keep prim and proper
Amongst bared teeth and
Elongated claws
Because though we are
Weaker than they think
The mind is so easily tricked
Into false judgment and
Pretty lies
So we'll be able tell ourselves we'll
Be okay
