After leaving the library, Raven had a free class period.

As usual, she wanted to be alone, but today she couldn't stop thinking about walking along the thick patch of sycamore trees with someone else.

Damn it, Pan. Get it out of your head! You can't get involved, she thought-- trying to shake a certain someone out of her mind, and it wasn't Doug.

She knew how people from the Isle have a talent for trouble and drama, and she couldn't let herself down that path, not again. Since leaving Neverland, Raven didn't even know if she was really a villain anymore. Although, she knew for certain, that she wasn't a hero.

Raven began thinking:

On the other hand... I guess there's no harm in making a friend...Hades knows I'll never be an Auradon girl, maybe I should... Yes. I can be friends with a guy from the Isle... who just happens to be really smart, and funny, whose eyes are warm like hot chocolate, and whose full lips look perfect when he smiles. He has the brightest smile I have ever seen... No damn it, girl! She scolded her own thoughts.

Raven sat down by a group of trees and began reading her newly borrowed book, to take her mind off of things. She could hear the wind rustle the leaves and she felt her hair tickling her face; feeling calm at last.

Her peace would be short lived.

"Oh, hey! It's Raven!" Someone called out.

Carlos? She thought, hopefully.

Nope. Not Carlos.

Ugh. Come on!

At that, Raven grabbed up her belongings and shuffled quickly away. To her extreme annoyance, who came bounding after her?  But, Chad friggen' Charming, and three of his mindless minions.

"C'mon, Raven, where are you going?" Chad asked, intrusively.

"None of your business. Bye." Answered Raven, avoiding looking back at them.

Continuing to pursue her, Chad responded addressing his friends,

"Looks like the lost freak doesn't want to hang out with us." He taunted.

Raven swallowed her anger and ignored them as she continued to walk away. Chad then grabbed her by the wrist and turned her around.

"Don't touch me, Chad!" Raven warned, ripping her wrist from his grasp.

"But, we want to hang out with you." Chad goaded, with a smug expression.

"Just let it go! I don't want to hang out. And before you say it-- I will not do your homework, and I will not go out with you. This is getting aggressive, and really boring!" Raven spat at the AK.

"Who said anything about "going out"? I'm just looking to have a little fun. Everyone knows how Neverland girls get around." Chad continued to try to get under Raven's skin.

Raven was now seething.

"I'm warning you, Chad. I'm the last person you want to push. Take my advice-- and get your entitled, disgusting ass, away from me!" Raven shot back, through gritted teeth.

"So nasty! I think you should apologize." Chad condescended.

"I think you should apologize... mostly to the trees, for waisting their oxygen!" Raven retorted.

"As a royal, I think I deserve a little more respect than that, especially from a Neverland reject." Chad retorted.

Raven became further enraged, and turned abruptly, slapping Chad across the face. Chad retaliated by pushing her to the ground.
