A/N: Be patient. You'll understand what that means...

Jay and Carlos had decided to join Tourney (a popular Auradon sport) pretending to fit in--and to stay close to Ben. Jay was naturally athletically talented, but Carlos was just trying not to get killed. He had however, been improving. The Knights had just won their big game, with Jay, Ben, and Carlos winning the final goal. The crowd was going wild and the team was jumping and cheering at their win.

Ben suddenly took the game announcer's microphone and declared his love for Mal, again-- this time so the whole school could hear, including Audrey.

"I love you Mal! Did I mention that?" He shouted to her, above the crowd.

Raven rarely attended the games. But she had nothing better to do. Of course, if she happened to catch a glimpse of her white-haired, brown-eyed, ex- friend-- that would just be a coincidence.

She wore a short brown, olive- green, and blue, steam punk style dress. On her eyes was blue, white and black eye shadow. She also wore her typical nude lip gloss. Her hair was down and curly and she donned a feather bracelet on her wrist.

Ben went on to sing a ridiculous song, about how (you guessed it) RIDICULOUS-- he and Mal's love is.

During the number, Raven saw Jay and Carlos singing and dancing behind Ben. Carlos was actually really good, for a boy who thought he was pure evil.

Raven, being a Pixie, came to a realization, as she sensed the love magic flowing from the Prince.

Wow, that's desperate, she thought.

After the song ended, Audrey was visibly upset and ran off the field. She came back shortly after, and to save face she declared to the whole school that she is now with Chad, and they would be attending the Coronation together.

Oh, you poor, poor girl, thought Raven.

Raven didn't feel bad for her for getting dumped. Actually, she thought this was the best idea Ben had all year. After bringing the VKs to Auradon to most likely destroy all of the peace and purity, she was glad he did something right. No, her pity was for the girl needing to resort to dating Chad "The Cad".

Even Audrey doesn't deserve that.

The whole spectacle ended with Ben asking Mal to Coronation, and Mal saying "yes".

I have to hand it to you, Mal... I did not see this coming, thought Raven, partially disgusted and partially impressed.

Carlos soon spotted Raven, as she was leaving the game and heading again toward the woods, book in hand as always. Carlos knew he needed to let her go. He knew what he would have to do, but he just couldn't help his curiosity. He walked toward the pixie.

"Careful. Some jerk might try to push you down again." Quipped Carlos, breaking the ice.

"We all saw how that ended. I think, I'll be fine." Retorted Raven, walking away.

"Hey. Hey, stop." He coaxed, putting his hand on her shoulder, but removing it quickly.

"What do you want, Carlos?" She groaned, impatiently.

"I...I was wondering if you saw the game?" Asked Carlos, realizing it was lame. But, he couldn't think of anything better to say.

"I did, yes. It was, stimulating..." She drawled, with sarcasm.
