Matt, matt, matt is all what I was thinking about. The party last night. I remember every single bit of it. Me saying how he is different. I don't know if he was, drunk and called my beautiful while I crying.
I got interrupted by my phone ring, I looked to see Luke on my phone. The boy I met not my ex boyfriend.
(L: Luke Z: Zoey)
L: hey I was surprised you umm answered.
Z: well I answered
L: are you doing anything today?
Z: umm no not today
L: wanna hangout today?
Z: sure, where shall I meet you?
L: shall? You sound so consistent.
Z: thanks
L: okay well umm the park?
Z: next to the river?
L: yea
Z: okay, meet you there

I got dressed into an outfit (outfit ⬆️), I brushed my teeth and curled my hair. I grabbed my phone, earphones, and charger. I got a text from Luke saying he was outside, I heard a honk and smiled. I grabbed my keys and walked out of my house.
I locked the door and went inside his car,
"ready?" He asked and I nodded.
He put the car on drive and drove off, "so what grade are you in?" He asked.
"I'm in senior year" I smiled
"oh cool so am I you go to Ireton?" He asked.
(a/n : Just pretend there are no school uniforms)
"Yea" I nodded and he smiled
"That's cool" he smiled.
"So yea" I smiled
"I don't see you at lunch" he frowned
"oh, I sit alone" I smiled.
"well you can sit with me if you'd like" he smiled and I nodded awkwardly.
He parked in the parking lot we walked around and talked. He's really funny and cool
"so I see you with Matt are you guys dating?" he asked.
"no, we're just friends that all" I sighed
"just friends?" He asked
"yea" I nodded.
"are you sure he feels that way?" He asked
"no-I mean yes-I don't know" I sighed.
"oh, well if you feel like you need to talk about it I'm here" he smiled.
"thanks, I'm gonna need someone to talk to" I sighed and he nodded.
We went toward the river and walked on the bridge.
"don't you like feel you just want to dive in and relax?" He asked.
"so many times, back in Florida I did that to keep my mind off things" I nodded.
"well then there's a shop right there" he smiled pointing the the store at the end of the bridge.
"lets go" I smiled and grabbed his hand then we ran to the store.
