Declan POV

Kiana and I was heading out of the jet now and walking down the stairs While I was holding her hand so she wouldn't fall but Kiana was giving me a look of confusion so I just gave her a smile and said.

" what is that look for my love is there something wrong"

Kiana then said " well you never really told me why we are at Hawaii in the first place baby" Kiana said with a smile I then said " well I know you been going through a lot my love so I booked a vacation just for us for a whole month.

Kiana then started to tear up and say " baby are you joking or you being for real, for real because Ik you did not just say you booked a whole one month vacation just for us handsome".

I then added " actually I did it mostly for you because I know you deserve it babygirl and also how could I not you do to much for me and also you work to damn hard woman you need a break to relax and to just have fun so I had to repay the favor my love I then gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Kiana then jump up to me and gave me a huge hug and kiss and said " thank you handsome I don't know how to repay but I'll repay you some how I promise because Sometimes I feel like I really don't deserve such a man like you in my life".

I then gave her a upset face because how dare my women say she don't deserve me so I added " my love you do NOT I repeat don't NOT have to repay me back and also yes you do deserve me baby you deserve everything in this whole universe you hear me beautiful now enough of this chat let go to the hotel before it to late"

1 hour later

Kiana and I was finally in our hotel room and it just how I imagined it to be just perfect

Kiana then had this shock face on when she saw the room which made me chuckle and then she said

" wow baby this is so beautiful I can't believe we be staying here for a whole month"

I then said " not as beautiful as you my love"

Kiana then blushed and said " thank you handsome" and kissed me on the cheek then I said " alright well let's unpack then let relax because we got something really special to do tomorrow".

Kiana then said " what we doing tomorrow baby"

I then said " it well be something you hopefully like my love" I then kiss her on the hand and then we unpacked all of are stuff and laid on the bed together and I brought Kiana closer to me to give her a couple of kisses and she kissed me back.

Kiana then laid on my chest and fell asleep so I thought why not take a nap with her sense she was falling asleep then someone knocked on the door I sighed and whisper " who the fuck can that be but whoever it is it better be very important" so I got up slowly and walked to the door and opened it and it was a dude at the door saying " hello Mr. Hughes I'm looking for Kiana" he said with a smile I then gave him a dirty look and said " who are you" he the responded " I'm a old friend of hers sir" I then looked back at Kiana and looked back at him saying " she is sleeping right now so you can come back later if you want".

He then smiled and said " ok thank you sir I miss her like crazy so please come down to my room when she wakes up I then nod my head and close the door and lock it because Ik there is something going on here so I called my guards to protect our door just in case because if someone put on finger on my women it is not going to be pretty.

Kiana POV: a day later

Me and Declan are going for a swim so I put on my bathing suit put on this purple bikini

because after what Declan said to me that one time I was getting my confidence back a little bit and it felt good to feel beautiful again in my skin.

But once I was done changing I told Declan if he was ready and he yelled in the bathroom saying " yes my beautiful queen I'll be out in a minute" soon enough he came out with his towel on his shoulder and wearing some blue trunks on.

Declan then looked at me with love and lust in his eyes and came closer to me and picked me up and I giggled he then gave me a whole lots of kisses and said " if only I could words into how much you look beautiful babygirl" he then kissed me on the cheek and holding my hand until we got to the pool.

Once we got to the pool I seen someone stare at me and once I walked further I noticed that it wasn't just anyone it was my ex boyfriend the ex boyfriend that almost killed me 9 years ago and made me feel like I was nothing and wasn't worthy of nothing then.

Then he started to come closer to me and I grab onto Declan are just incase he hit me Declan then noticed that I was scared and nervous at this point so he put me into his arms and my head in his chest my heart was beating faster then a rabbit at this point and ig Declan noticed and said "go to the room baby my guards with walk with you until you are in the room safely" I then nodded head and he kissed me on the forehead before I ran as fast as I could then I seen a lot of guards coming my way and said " c'mon mrs. Hughes we will protect you" I then walked off with them.

Declan POV

I saw this asshole that I saw yesterday and I knew something was wrong automatically I then got out my gun out that I brought with me because I felt something off today and my intuition was right so I brought Kiana closer to me by my chest and started to be the shit out the dude whoever he was.

I started hitting him blow by blow where he looked like he was about to die but I don't care because Kiana safety is more important to me then anything else I then picked him up and said to him what your name in anger I was beyond pissed by now and he looked scared as shit that how Ik he was a pussy ass bitch he then said he name was Byron Aurelio I then told my other guards to take care of business for me asap I said with a smirk and walked off and I could hear behind me was guns shots.
