Story 9: Broken

As the sun rises above, chaos continues in the home town of Daniel Hellborne. From his own kind..

~•Music: Destiny 2 - Off world Recovery (phase 2)•~

As unmarked pale white Exo male and females continue to swarm the city, police officers die before they even get here.

The robot's were merciless, beating civilians to death effortlessly and breaking into houses by the dozen. As half of the town was overwhelmed the other half was waitin for the swarm.

In an abandoned building, a police officer that survived a gang attack forms the robot's lumps inside. He finds himself in a dim area with no place to hide. He just waits near the doorway and groans in pain.

Suddenly, he hears the voice of a robotic Exo and jumps but this one was different. Before he could run out a gloved hand grabbed his arm and yanked him back inside. He saw a man with a ram skull mask on, red eyes glaring through his sockets.

Dan: (angry) Hide in here or those bastards will demolish you.

Dan looked down at the man's chest and saw a black dove tattoo, it was slightly glowing red for some odd reason. As they heard Exo footsteps in the distance, Dan growled at the man.

Dan: (angry) Why is your tattoo glowing?

Feran: (scared) I-I don't know! It just appeared last night! It makes me dizzy-

Dan: (angry) Damnit.

Dan dropped the cop and ran outside just as the army arrived. Thousands and thousands of Exo's saw him at the same time, one of them yelling as they ran towards him from the streets.

They poured out of buildings and alleyways, sprinting furiously towards the warlock.

Exo Female 1: (loud) Warlock Located. Pursuit in process.

Panicking, Dan infused his entire body with solar energy, becoming nothing but a giant flaming ball. He then leaped off the ground.

The solar energy propelled him wherever he wanted, flying up to the central skyscraper of the city.

Hundreds of miles in the air, he landed on the roof of this very building where the kids were.

He walked In the middle and held his hands near his chest like he was holding a basketball. His robotic eyes began to glow white as crimson and blue arc tendrils began jumping from finger tip to finger top. A ball slowly formed in the middle of his hands, very slowly growing in size.

The roof was small, another the size of a bathroom unfortunately. Crona and Evan were on one side, Evan holding a pistol he stole and Crona panicking. Ana was using her powers to launch purple explosives at the Exos from above however, they started to climb the building.

Crona: (panic) What are you doing?!

Dan: (angry) When I say now, Ana hoists everyone into the air off the floor! I'm gonna. Wipe the entire city clean of Exo humans!

Ana: Okay!

Evan: (confused, scared) Will that even work?

Dan: (angry) I never tried it before! Let's see!

As Exos got to the top, the kids tried their best to fight them off. Dan started focusing on himself, the ball growing bigger in his tendrils. Soon, thousands of exo's began scaling the building at once, covering the entire sides with white bodies and red eyes.

The music got louder as Ana's eyes began glowing purple. She yelled and shot her hands out, a purple transparent shield formed. Around the entire roof.
