Said a knight that barged in through the throne room doors.

"What is it?" She asked as the other guards became instantly defensive.

"I-It's...."

"David"

Y/N's E/C eyes widened.

"Where is he? Has he hurt anyone?" Y/N said worriedly as she quickly stood up and walked towards the guard.

"No he hasn't. He's right outside on the pavilion"

Y/N nodded and motioned for her knights to stay behind and for Barbatos to follow her.

"Ah, Miss L/N what a pleasure to see you" smirked the tall man.

His green eyes glistened and his staff gleamed.

"What do you want" Y/N asked although it was more of a demand.

"Can't an old friend visit without being attack by guards?" He chuckled.

That's when Y/N noticed the mass amount of deceased guards.

"You monster" she spat, venom dripped from the corners of her mouth.

"Relax" he smiled and placed his hands up.

He suddenly kicked a basket towards the Queen.

She looked down at it suspiciously.

"Well? Pick it up before it-"

A loud wail was heard from the woven basket.

"Cry's..."

Y/N quickly knelt down to pick up the crying child and cradle him in her arms.

She looked up and saw that David was no where to be found.

"M'Lady! Are you alright?" Shouted Elijah.
