Manyata's POV

A yawn escaped from my lips while walking shoulder to shoulder with Uday.
And just like that our silence was broken due to the sudden giggle from our would-be Crown Prince.
"You can go and sleep, it's late I will retire to bed soon too" he proposed.
"Nah I am fine actually when I was in college I always stayed up doing all the stupid shenanigans, from then on I have become more of a night owl" I added, what I said is cent per cent true but right now I just want to spend some time with him so that he can relax and think less about tomorrow.
"Oh really, I was more of a morning person, still am it's just some days I find hard to go to bed early" he reasoned out.
"How was your college life Uday?" I asked
When I asked this question we were reaching towards a Bench situated inside the garden on which we mutually decided to sit.
"It was nothing like a dream college experience, I have studied in England, the life was way too busy for me, almost everything had a time in my life back then, yes I did attend parties, but on the other hand I never skipped a day in college" he replied, I was shocked because I thought he must have had a nice college life as he studied abroad, as I previously got to know from Unaati.
"Do you regret it?" I asked, he gave this question a minute to answer.
"Nope, I think I am what I am because of my college days and the days I spent working hard upon" he replied.
"How was your college life?" He asked me back, now the weather was a lot chilly than before, soft cold winds made its way towards us moving my left open hair, making me smoothened them out every minute.
"My college life was okay, I wanted to study in Symbiosis business school, Pune but sadly my parents did not wish me to go outside our state so I had to settle with BHU, it's a great college no remarks about that but this college was not my dream," I told him and let out a sigh.
After this, we both again fell into silence this time a more comfortable one than before.
........................................................................

Today is the Crowing Ceremony, yesterday night we spent our time talking and staring at the beautiful sky, currently, I am sitting inside Unnati's Chamber with all other girls including Unnati's Cousins.

we are deciding what Unnati should wear for this ceremony and I thought Unnati will be a sweetheart when it comes to dressing and cloths but God damn it's been two hours since we've been debating over her wearing Orangish Lehenga or a bandhani print navy blue one.

I was about to remark something in defence when Pragya said the Blue Lehenga looked like shit but then my phone rang the same moment, it showed Papa's name suddenly I was scared, he never calls me even if he wants to talk to me its always mom who calls first, I excused myself and went outside the chamber and stood up to the open area near it and answered the phone.

"Namaste Papa"

"Namaste" he replied his voice as always tired from working I could hear the sound of the bustling and hustling of Banaras traffic, he was in the shop.

"Manyata where is the envelope I told you to keep inside my shop last week," he asked, I rolled my tensed shoulder backwards relaxing after listening that it isn't something bad for which he called and tried to remember which Envelope he is talking about, suddenly I remembered a red envelope that he said to keep safe.

"it's inside your drawer of the main Almirah one with the gold knob" I replied, he took a minute to reply and I heard jingling of keys and a krrr sound by the opening of the old almirah inside my father's shop.

"yes, Manyata I got it" I smiled, but frowned when I heard some worker of the shop asking something which came as a muffled voice.

"I am hanging up now ill call in the night," he said and then cut the call without even acknowledging me.

"yes, Papa," I said out loud after my screen showed the call has been ended.

As I turned around to go to Unnati's room I was met with a chest looking up I realized that this chest is actually none other than Udayveer Singh.
