A week managed to pass between then and now. Whilst war efforts rage on, the young Alice Fletcher continues to weep in her room for the best friend she lost. Gone is her spirit and fire, replaced with a soulless despair too difficult to remove. Yosemite Square became a bustling hive of activity; transmitting signals, codes and all sorts of communications thanks to their new transceiver courtesy of one Seargent James Michaels.
Michaels for that matter has trekked far and wide in search of Benson. Many travels cross open plains and talks with passing travellers have led him to a mountainside. Whisperings of strange experiments and a camp unlike any other douse the mountain in mystery, and the Seargent is eager for answers.
As for the duo aboard the red war machine, they have managed to get themselves caught in the catcher net of the red tripod. They stand determined, with a plan in action and a young boy in need of saving.
