Sweet Anniversary

!Non-Despair AU!
(They graduated Hope's Peak and the Tragedy never happened, nor did the Kamukura project. All the main cast are 22 years old!)

Sonia's POV

I was waking up and felt a single arm wrapped around my waist, Gundham. I turned and faced him, and after a few seconds of staring at his adorable sleeping face, I slowly lifted his arm from around me and started heading to the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror, I was wearing a plain black over-sized T-Shirt, it belonged to Gundham but I wear it more than him anyways so I basically own it now, along with that I was wearing simple white shorts, all-in-all, I looked extremely basic.

I took off the clothes and put them into the clothes basket, I then stepped into the shower and turned on the water.

As I was scrubbing the shampoo into my hair, I just remembered! It's me and Gundham's 2 year anniversary as an official couple! It's honestly crazy just thinking about it... It's been 2 whole years!

Since I graduated Hope's Peak academy for Ultimate students, I've been leading my country as a queen, me and Gundham aren't exactly married yet, so my people don't officially count him as king, but they do definitely treat him as such! To a-lot of people's disbelief, we've never actually gotten too... intimate. I think the modern label is that we're both "virgins"! But I just enjoy our cuddles and kisses!

Me and Gundham traveled to Japan this month and are staying in a hotel suite for our anniversary! I'm so excited for today...

Third Person POV

Gundham slowly woke up and heard the water in the shower, and then he kept thinking about their anniversary, he too was thinking about how crazy it was that they had been together for this long.

He remembered how they were when they first had gotten into their relationship, how shy he always was whenever she hugged him, and especially red when they would kiss, he still sort of gets nervous whenever they're doing anything intimate, dork, and he also remembers how much Sonia's parents were pushing him to propose already! Well, he wouldn't want to disappoint his girlfriend's parents would he?

As he was positioning himself to sit on the bed, he heard the water stopping and Sonia walked into the room with nothing but a towel wrapped around her body, he blushed and covered his now extremely red face with the blanket, still a dork.

"Oh Gundham! I didn't realize you woken up! I thought I could sneak by and get my hair brush before going to the closet to change." She said, sort of blushing.

"I-It's alright my Dark Queen" he said, though he did stutter and his voice sort of cracked in the middle there, which Sonia noticed and obviously gasped, he looked at her.

"Did your voice just crack?"
"Of course not mortal, you're just being fooled by your imagination!"
"No! I feel like I definitely heard your voice go high-pitched for a second there!" She was walking closer to him.

She was just extremely surprised that his voice cracked, she had stars in her eyes, of course, she obviously knew that he couldn't keep the act all the time, when they would cuddle together and having a moment he'd drop the intense voice and mannerisms and talk in a calm whispery tone, it was adorable when it happened and she loved it. But she's never actually heard his voice go high-pitched like that in the middle of the act!
