A couple of hours later

your Pov

I turned to Tiffany and Ivanka who had recently shown up and said "So... what do we do?" Tiffany rubbed her chin and thought before speaking up to saying "Maybe the security cameras have caught something we could use against him" we all nodded in agreement.

We turned to see Charlie and Felix staring out the window

"What are you guys doing?" Asked Ivanka 

"We are waiting for Barron to come home" Charlie replied 

I saw Kennedy frown a bit before saying "Okay make sure you tell us when he is here"

Charlie just nodded

4 hours later

Kennedy Pov

We were all sitting quietly while Melania scheduled court for the divorce when all of a sudden Charlie jumped up and ran to the door with their dog running behind them

"Where are you going," Tiffany asked them as they were reaching for the handle

"Barron is home I wanna show him, Felix," Charlie said before running out the door 

We were all left confused as Charlie walked inside with Barron who was covered in slobber from Felix licking him

Confused Melanie turned to Barron and said "How did you get back I thought dad wouldn't let you leave?"

"Uh... Charlie told the police I was being held, hostage..." Barron said glancing at Charlie who was sitting on the ground with their dog

"So that's why they knew you were coming home," Julian said

Charlie looked up at Y/n and said "You looked sad and I wanted to help" and then looked down at the dog who had fallen asleep on their lap

Y/n smiled and looked up at Barron saying "I'm guessing you got well acquainted with Felix"

Barron nodded and said "Yeah"

3 hours later

Jayden Pov

I had just gotten home as Tiffany and Ivanka were leaving and walked in to see Barron, Y/n, and Kennedy wrapping presents while Melania, Julian, and Noah were making a list of something.

"What's happening?" I asked

"We are making a list of food to get for Christmas," Melania said 

"We are wrapping presents for everyone besides us," Barron said which made sense on why the other three weren't looking at them

"Wheres Charlie?" I asked

"This is their first Christmas away from their family so we sent them to their room so we could prepare," Julian said while looking at the list they had made

"It was Melania's idea" Y/n added on

"If you want you can go to visit them," Noah said turning to me

"Okay I will be back," I said before turning and walking away

I walked into Charlie's room and saw Charlie asleep on their bed while Jasper was laying next to their head and Felix was laying on their side and they were all asleep. I walked back to the living room quietly 

"They are all asleep," I said 

"What do you mean 'All'" Noah said 

"I mean Charlie, Jasper, and Felix," I said

"How are they able to get all three of them to fall asleep," Melania said 

Y/n pov

I was going to answer Melania when Jayden spoke up from seeing what I was wrapping

"Did somebody get a bird?" Jayden asked causing the three who were making the list to turn to us

"Charlie wants to get birds and they asked me if they could get some once they got the money," said Kennedy

Barron quickly added on "We are picking up two parakeets from the pet store the day of Christmas and giving them to Charlie."

"Well this is the last thing to wrap and then we should probably head to bed," I said as I finished wrapping the bird food.
