. His friends sometimes really worry about him, because he'll get so anxious at school that he pukes. They figure he just has extreme anxiety over stuff, but in reality, it has nothing to do with school.

. Nekoda is hardly ever seen eating at school. When his friends do make him eat, he ends up feeling sick and later has to go throw up.

. Some days when he shows up to school he has an unexplained sore throat, or he has to frequently use the bathroom because of unexplained UTIs.

. He's very wary of physical contact.

. He's always trying to hide his bruises and injuries.

. He gets very worried and anxious when the school day is about to come to an end— that's when he's most worried and anxious.

. When he gets into the habit of staying away from home, his uncle threatens to harm some of his school friends in order to get him to start coming home consistently.

. By the time the U.A. Dorms exist, Nekoda is fairly safe and feels fairly safe. But he's expected to go visit his uncle on Sundays and holidays, which sends him into a panic and leaves him jittery and jumpy, making others suspicious that something is up.

. When he moves into the dorms, he's fine for the most part, but he starts to get extremely anxious on Saturdays. He'll go the entire day without eating and, come evening, he has trouble sleeping and he'll wake up from nightmares. When he gets back to the dorms on Monday, he starts sleeping under his bed or in his closet again, and he acts very withdrawn for a few days after. Sometimes he comes back with bruises and seems sore, but he always brushes it off as him being stupid and reckless.

. Sometimes Nekoda acts/seems like he's high. Whenever he acts like that, it's probably because he actually is high.

. The guy has come back to the 1C dorm drunk before, too. He's an absolute cat when he's drunk.

. When he's drunk or high, he seeks affection. He can be really needy. Sometimes he gets a bit inappropriate, too.

. To help him feel euphoric without being high or anything, they have him get catnip. And catnip makes him act all happy, loony, and high/drunk. But if he eats it he gets sleepy.

. Nekoda is a dog person and doesn't like cats. But some cats are very sweet, in which case, he does like them. Sometimes he does get fairly annoyed with dogs.

. His mother was born a kitten and, when her quirk kicked in, she started to become human. So her technical quirk could be called Human rather than Cat. But to keep things less confusing, they called it Cat.

. Because of his sensitive hearing, he hates loud noises. And being just like a cat, he also hates music. Most of it, anyways.

. He never removes any of his clothing. Guys typically don't have a problem exposing their bellies or chests or arms. But he never does. And even around the other guys he never removes a single article of clothing. He also never goes to the public bath with the guys.

. If you push him for information he doesn't want to give he gets really, visibly uncomfortable. If you prevent him from leaving by grabbing his wrist or cornering him, he gets really panicky.

. Nekoda has been being abused for a year now, maybe even longer than that.

. His adoptive parents died in the car crash on his birthday. So he hates his birthday. He doesn't even tell people when it is so he doesn't have to deal with birthday wishes.

. Nekoda doesn't necessarily act happy and cheerful, but he doesn't complain about anything happening in his life. He keeps to himself, though, which makes him seem pretty mysterious.
