(Not great at writing battle scenes, please tell me if something sounds weird, fairly short sorry)
All the digimon were tired and hungry aside from Agumon. Every time they tried to get up, Shellmon would knock them back down.
Tai was in pain, it hurt (Y/n) to see that, she looked up to him and he always protected her. But then something extraordinary happened! Because of Tai's courage, Agumon transformed!
"Agumon, digivolve to… Greymon!!!"
'Digivolve huh? Whatever it is, it's super cool!'
The new and improved Greymon started battling with Shellmon, and the other digidestined kids along with their digimon were able to stand and rest.
While the others tried to figure out what to do or how they could help, (Y/n) couldn't help but watch as Tai and Greymon slowly defeated their enemy. She was entranced, praying, hoping, knowing Tai would win.
Once everything was over, she couldn't keep herself from looking at Tai with determination and hope in her eyes. To her, that was the coolest, bravest thing she had ever seen, and she wanted to be able to do that too.
Maybe… Maybe starting with friendship wouldn't be too bad…
(Time skip)
The children had done some walking, as always, and ended up at a lake. There was a small tram cart there, and while they weren't sure why, they didn't complain.
Tai chose to take the night guard, and even though (Y/n) was told to rest, she couldn't sleep. As much as she hated living with her terrible mother, back on Earth she could see Kari every day.
As (Y/n) looked out over the dark waters, a thought came to her head.
"I'll do w-whatever I have t-too, I'm gonna be strong for you, K-kari!!!"
While she knew Kari would never hear her, and that nobody else would either, she felt content. She was going to get back home, no matter what it took.
And maybe… just maybe… she'd make some friends along the way.
